Two words-First Rate! Had a 15 year old HVAC unit that needed to be replaced. After (5) bids from other Companies, on advice of my Friend, called Howald and met with Tim F. Should have called them first. Tim explained everything in detail and in a way I could understand. He has over 24 years experience and was willing to work with me on price. Their bid was $300 less than all others and he was the only guy that actually listened to me and didnt try to up-sell me or push something I didnt want. Set up install 2 days later and their Installers (Jason and Chris) actually showed up 20 minutes early. They have been working together for over ten years and one knows what the other needs or is thinking without asking asking. They work in perfect tandem and knocked out the job in less than 5 hours. They displayed a thorough mastery of knowledge on every question I had during the install and left my house cleaner than it was before they showed up. After the install, Jason took 10 minutes to go over energy efficiency best practices, maintenance, etc. He truly cared about his Customer and about making sure that every nut and bolt was tight and everything was perfect. If you dont want high pressure sales tactics and an honest Company that delivers on what they say and prides itself on integrity then call Howald.

I have received nothing but great service from Howald. We found out that wed need to replace our AC unit earlier this summer and had a team out within a week to install during one of their busiest times of the season. The sales person that we worked with went out of his way to get us scheduled as soon as possible and even offered to help with a stop gap solution since we couldnt be scheduled earlier. Once he learned that it would not work, he explained why he couldnt as opposed to unnecessarily charging us money for something he knew wouldnt work in the first place. Every technician weve had out has been professional and extremely knowledgeable. We recently had our AC go out due to an incorrect fuse and made an emergency service call around 5 pm. A technician was out by 9 that evening to fix it. We were charged although it should have been under warranty. We called the next day and were reimbursed for most of the charge. Overall, our experience has been extremely positive with Howald. They appear to be a local/family owned business that will do anything for their customers and hire very knowledgeable and professional individuals.

I cant speak to their actual heating and cooling work, but I still testify to their customer service. I needed a filter cabinet cover for my AC unit -- just a silly little cover. One of their technicians took the time to look at pictures of unit, get measurements from me, and fashion a cover out of scrap metal -- all of this during a heat wave when they were super busy. Super impressed with their care for the customer, even one like me who was only buying a small metal scrap.

Have used them a few times, and they have consistently had experienced, quality technicians come out. My most recent experiences with them were for plumbing issues -- one bathroom and one kitchen issue -- and they came promptly and did a good job, even when one of the situations involved some trouble-shooting. Solid, trustworthy business. Would absolutely recommend them.

Im finishing my basement and my drywallers came across some hvac issues I had that I was unaware of. I called howald heating and cooling and they were able to fit me in that week since I was in a time crunch. The price was fair and the technician was knowledgable and professional. Id definitely call them again and recommend them to others!

I had Howald Heating & Plumbing come to my house to diagnose and fix an issue I was having with a lack of hot water pressure. Austin, the plumber that showed up, diagnosed and fixed the problem withing one hour. He was very courteous and the price was definitely reasonable. Highly recommended!
