Wont go back there at all. My computer that was taken in to him wouldnt hook up to my hotspot and he keep saying it was service provider, and its not due to using this same hotspot on other computers. I understand that Im not a computer tech BUT treating a paying customer like he treated me was totally wrong when its my computer and I know what it is and isnt doing and trying to explain and all he keep saying is he didnt understand what I was saying and basically calling me a liar. This is response to your response to me. Yes I seen that my computer connected to your wifi, however we will continue to disagree about both of my Sprint hotspots since they work on my other computer but not this one, also if this wasnt the reason it was brung in then why was it the first thing we were asked to do when we walked into the room as your tech was bring my computer back up, was to turn our hotspot on. Also the reason of this response on this review is your customer service as a person, and you have also made it worse by the NASTY cuss worded texts that are on my husbands phone and calling us names and saying you were going to ruin us and called us white trash and scum. Wow what a way to be in business. But thank you for removing the viruses that you say were in my computer and that we did pay you for removing even though we have no proof that we did pay you since you said you dont do anything on paper, so we dont have a receipt of anything. Like I said you said you did remove virus but since I still cant use my computer how am I to know since all you did show me was that it connected to your wifi and not my Hotspot which was the reason as I have said before it was taken to your office,yes you did say you would return our $60, but then you wouldnt listen to the fact that it was not just that you didnt fix the connection problem. My negitive review was mostly on you and your customer service, which totally sucks. YOU DO NOT LISTEN to the customer about what the problem is with the item brought to you, because had you remembered what you were told on the phone about it not connecting to the hotspot, then you would have fixed the problem. Talk about harassment, I have every threating text you are sending, and will be reporting you.

Short Version: Ballard is excellent. Marvin was very friendly and didnt try to coerce me into spending money I didnt need to. He helped me to reset my iPad over the phone. I will definitely use them again in the future if any of my technology breaks or has issues. I wholly recommend. Actual Version: Im a English graduate student at FSU, and I dropped my iPad (with retina display) about a week ago. Undoubtedly, this iPad that houses all of my documents, since I dont own a computer, has my entire life on it--all of my work, papers, PDFs, etc. Later, I tried to work on it, but it wouldnt turn on. Panicked, I began driving around town to find a place before it closed. The Computer Repair Doctor was going to charge me $65 dollars just to look at it, to "run diagnostics." Then, I found Ballard Computes LLC on Google, and I called them. Marvin answered, and he was very eager to help and very friendly. Free of charge, he guided me through hard resetting my iPad myself over the phone, and it worked! I didnt need to bring it in or pay a ton of money for someone to help me. I firmly believe that Ballard is a place where you wont get scammed into paying more than you actually need to. I will give them my business as long as Im in Tallahassee.

I dropped my husbands iPhone down the stairs while he was out of town. It was not just cracked, the LCD screen was impossible to read. In desperation I called Marvins number at 7:30 early Sunday morning, just hoping to find out what his hours were. He kindly offered to meet me, opened his office for me, and fixed the phone for a price much less than I would have paid. I pay plumbers more to fix a toilet handle I have now learned to repair myself, and we have paid twice as much other places to repair iphone screens. My husband could not believe it was the same phone because I sent him the picture. Marvin fixed ithe phone as I watched, and he taught me a great deal about iPhones, iPads, and MacBook software. We have 5 iPhones, 5 iPads, and 5 MacBooks in this house. With three kids, we have had to have many repairs. I highly recommend Ballard Computes LLC. Marvin is very fast, reasonably priced, and one of the most accommodating and knowledgable service people I have ever met. I am only sorry that I only took two of his cards because I gave them away one day after he helped me. I rarely leave comments on websites because it takes time. This business and this skilled and professional young man deserves a better review than I have expressed here.

I have a 2012 Macbook Pro 15" that had liquid damage. I called 3 other repair stores in the area and they would not touch it because the keyboard is riveted to the frame and takes actual manual labor to replace. They all recommended buying a new top half which is around $400 and then you must pay labor to swap it in. It would be at least a $550 job in total. The staff at Ballard excepted the challenge knowing exactly what they were in for, and was a break from the everyday broken phone glass repair. I was contacted periodically throughout the repair process to know my exact options in case other problems were found and if a cheaper option presented itself. I picked up my laptop the following morning in perfect working order and a surprising low bill knowing that the repair took up most of their day. All my future technology repairs will be going to the Ballard team as I know I will get perfect job performed at a great rate. With 4 kids all with tablets and phones, there is no doubt I will get to know them well in the future. Dont hesitate to trust your gear in Ballard Compute LLCs hands.

I broke my laptop screen and Marvin was the cheapest and fastest to get r done. I found him when I googled same day laptop screen replacement. The most awesome customer service Ive ever received. Honest. He took my card number on the phone to save me making 2 trips, ordered the screen, called me when it came in, Happen to be a Saturday and he wasnt going into the office, the man invited me to his home and repaired my laptop in front of me, teaching me along the way. Amazing customer service. I will never use anyone else for my computer needs again. Also, when he quoted me the price for the part, he told me when he got it cheaper. Hes a real people person. I was comfortable being in his home, You know female alone and all, and had never met the guy before or heard of his business. Hes a really nice person, and takes pride in the fact that he will do it for less than anyone else youll find, and I really searched before choosing Ballard. If there was a higher rating than excellent, thats Marvin.
