• Dropped my laptop off on a Saturday. [+0 business days] • No contact from Kbytes on Monday. I contacted them and was told I would get a call back Tuesday. [+1 business days] • No contact from Kbytes on Tuesday. I contacted them and was told I would get a call back that evening or in the morning. [+2 business days] • No contact from Kbytes on Wednesday. I contacted them throughout the day with no one answering the phone. I left messages, no call-backs by Kbytes. I finally reached them around 4pm and they still had not even looked at my laptop to give me an estimate. I retrieved my laptop from them at 6pm. [+3 businees days] I try to support local businesses whenever I can and some of the best repair shops Ive ever used were "hole-in-the-walls". However, Kbytes either has more business than they can handle or theyre inept or some combination of the two. Either way I wont be doing business with them again. 3+ business days just to get an estimate is unacceptable.

They do great work, but the communication is terrible! Id like to know when my device is going to take longer than expected so Im not just waiting to come get it. Id like to know when the part comes in so I can drop off my device. Id like to know when my device is done so I can come get it. Third time using their service and its been the same each time. This morning I addressed the issue with the lady that works there, and she was very responsive. She didnt realize that the repair guy had not called me back when she had left him slips to do so.
