For anyone who may be considering Revolution Realty for all of their home buying and selling needs, but are reluctant because they are asking themselves, “How can they charge 5%....what’s the catch?”, I can assure you, as someone who used their services, that this is one of the few times in life when less is more. If you start with the obvious, 5% is less than 7%. You save money. As a seller, use that money saved on a down payment on your next home, upgrade to a new TV, take your wife on a nice trip, or stash it away in savings. However, once you delve into the specifics of what 5% gets you, it was the unwavering attention to detail I was provided that started with a consultation, a complete comparison study using statistical data showing similar homes to mine that had sold, pricing trends over a several month period, and mean selling prices. Bottom line, when we decided on what my home should be listed at, I felt good that the price would not only be competitive to insure a quick sell, but also maximize the return on my investment. Rob Stiles and his team at Revolution Realty captured the essence of what I felt my homes strong points were through high definition and 3D home-walk-through technology, a precise description of the house and the many upgrades I had done over the years, and packaged it on their very intuitive website so that any potential buyer would be begging to get into the door. Once the viewings started rolling in and the offers shortly thereafter, the majority of the transaction was done from my smart phone. Gone are the days of having to hold multiple open houses, send out mailers, burn candles, and bake cookies to get people to envision themselves in a particular home. People are on the go, they want to view the house when it is convenient for them, and if they love it, want to pull the trigger and complete the transaction. And, being that I was traveling extensively during this period of my home sale, I felt relief knowing I could sign any document needed with a few taps on my iphone screen. All of the documents up through closing were then stored on a site that I could access at any time (from my phone or PC). The professionalism and ease they displayed when selling my home made it an easy choice for me to use Revolution Realty when I elected to purchase a new home. Setting up viewings for my wife and me were done with precision to fit into our busy schedule, where back-to-back-to-back homes were all synced up, sometimes on weeknights or weekends, proving that no matter what it takes, Rob and team were willing to go the extra mile. Then, once we found the place we wanted to make our own, he made writing the offer a snap and before we knew it we were at the closing and getting the keys to our new home. We closed at the end of March, so this may be a little overdue, but still more than necessary. Bringing Rob Stiles on as our realtor to sell our house and then assist us with the purchase of our new home was one of the best ideas we’ve ever made! After having a poor experience with a realtor from another company with the sale of our prior home, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with someone that was so down to earth, honest, and helpful. We had many questions throughout the whole process, and Rob never made us feel like we were stupid for trying to understand how things worked or why they were done a certain way.
