Ive been going to Rick Mosley for about 7 months now. When I first went, I was upset with a coloring job done by another Aveda salon, and was looking to have it fixed. Kelsey worked with me to get the correction done, and I love how my hair looks now. Its blonde, but still healthy, and looks right with my skin tone. Taylor is who cuts my hair, and even though its long and I like to keep the length, shes very good at adding dimension and texture to it, giving me a new and fresh cut every time. Overall, Im very happy with Kelsey and Taylor, both put the time and work into my hair, and I always feel like they listen to me BUT also give guidance for achieving MY best look. Thanks, ladies!

Ricks team of stylists are the best in DSM. Naphtali - incredible colorist. Knows what she is doing, makes great recommendations, very personable, and focused on the latest trends. Rick - fabulous work. He is an exceptional artist and wonderful teacher. Takes you step by step on styling your hair for the daily look as well as special occasions. I fully trust his work!

Didnt seem like they knew what to do with long thick hair, which I have. The stylist had me hold up my hair after washing because he said he didnt know how to wrap it. He also had me stand up from my chair for the initial cut and complained that my hair was too long. Didnt like the experience at all.

Naphtali is hands-down the best colorist in the Des Moines area. Tony does a great job with his consultations, and follows through on a great haircut every time. Rick Mosleys is consistently a wonderful salon experience!
