If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in last night, and asked one of the workers about a warranty. I bought a car from a friend of mine and she had paperwork for the muffler that was done at midas. So I took it there thinking the muffler was under warranty since it was only done 20k miles ago. The guy said yes it would be and you would just be paying for labor. Everything was great and dandy made an appointment at 8 this am and I get there and the guy working asked me about it and said oh I dont know who told you that but the warranty doesnt transfer. Really? So I woke up to be here at 8am on my day off!? Not to mention the waste of gas that was! Maybe your workers should get on the same page. What a joke. I walked out and said I would take my business elsewhere. Kurts auto is my mechanic. So I will be paying there. I advise everyone to take their business there. Super unprofessonal. I have worked in retail for many years and if you make a mistake you should honor it!

I came to Midas last week to have a tire puncture repaired. I showed the specialists which tire was leaking and where from...and they told me my tire had three punctures and their only option was to sell me a new set of tires. I have only owned the car a few weeks, but the previous owner had had the car aligned before selling it, and until I took the car to Midas, it was perfectly aligned. Now my steering wheel sits about 30 degrees to the right when driving straight, and pulls right besides. I ended up patching the tire myself with no problems and the other two things they told me were punctures were actually pebbles wedged in the tread.

On vacation from Chicago and looking to have an oil change on our full size van. Learned we had transmission leaks which my husband saw. This would require about 2 more hours for repairs and since we were there already, went ahead. The manager was gracious to offer us use of his car to do errands and shopping. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Van was done within time frame.Highly recommend Midas in Dubuque. If we were in Chicago, we would have had to wait it out in the reception area and no one would have given us a car to use. Thank you for your service! K.Wrobel

Less than impressed. The sign outside the Midas building states: "free brake inspection." It turns out this inspection is free if its a "simple" brake inspection. My brakes went through a diagnostic review at Midas, and repairs were recommended for a whole suite of "issues". I went to another well-respected auto repair shop, that specializes in brakes, and only a portion of the repairs were needed/necessary. My brakes were repaired at another shop for about 1/3 of the quoted price at Midas, and my brakes are now working great.

Good service, but very expensive. I was having door trouble and it cost me $91.00 for them to rehook a rod that came loose. They will take your money and make you over pay big time! Now a week later and it broke again, and they tried to charge me again! WTF?

Just went for oil change , when I left my heat blower cut in and off then 10 min later just stayed off . I took it back to hear that theres no way they did anything that could cause that problem. It has never happened before I took it to Midas . Never again .

I bring my new F-150 to Midas for oil changes instead of the dealer because the staff at Midas seems to genuinely care about their customers, and for the basic services I usually need, they are fantastic.
