Would not recommend this place or this company. We bought two sets of tires here, one set all season and one set winter. We were told that we would have FREE mounting and balancing every time we changed seasons for life. For the first three years that was exactly the case and we have never paid anything. Called today to set up our appointment to change out our seasonal tires and were informed that they will now be charging us per corporate policy. They said that whoever was selling during the time we bought our tires was lying to customers about the free lifetime changes and would no longer honor the exact reason we bought the tires. While we do understand that they may have made a mistake years ago, we also believe that a company like this should stand behind what was sold in the past or at least send out a notice and come up with some sort of compromise. Not wait until you set up your appointment to inform you. Also forgot to mention that in the past they have also taken our chrome caps. A minor thing but it does show the integrity of some of their workers as we see some others have had things come up missing.

Took my vehicle here and asked them to have a look at my 4x4 because it wouldnt engage. They took about 25 minutes and came back out and told me they couldnt figure it out without taking it apart. That was understandable. I get back in my vehicle and go to drive home and the vehicle wouldnt shift out of first! It would only go 8MPH. So I pulled back in and looked at the 4x4 and it was in 4Low. I asked them what happened and they said it was like that when I pulled it in. I explained that I took Dodge at 50 MPH to get there and that it wasnt possible. None of us could get it back to 2WD so they tried to explain it away by telling me I he a worn transmission and it wasnt their fault. I eventually got it out of 4WD but it wasnt a good experience!

I have a Ford Explorer and was having the hardest time getting anyone in Dubuque to find time to fix it. I called Firestone and had the best customer service experience I have ever had in my life. They took my car in within a hour of getting off the phone with them. They also worked with my warranty company to make sure I did everything right to get the charges covered. After two hours of having my car unfortunately they were unable to fix it the car either, but they helped me find a shop that could. The lovely lady Brenda and Firestone serves team listened to concerns and me cry at the same time. I would recommend this establishment to anyone having car trouble.

I strayed from my normal auto service dealer and fell into one of the advertised brake specials at Firestone. After the $79 brake job turned into $698, I asked for my vehicle back and declined the work. I returned to my regular auto shop to have the brakes inspected, and they recommended what I NEEDED, not a bunch of up-sell-auto-tech-gumbo that I got from Firestone. The staff there was nice, and dealing with another female was a relief, but I feel they were trying to take advantage of me.

I am visiting from Ohio and driving up here I noticed that the tires had a shimmy. I called and talked to Joe, explained the problem and he told me if I could get there before 330 PM,, he would fit me in. Well Scott took care of me and fixed the problem and I was out of there in an hour. I have been a Firestone customer for many years and this was the type of service that I have come to know and expect. /they did not dissapoint. Great job guys and thanks for taking care of me.

Called twice. Phone rang for a long time and then after I said hello the first time, someone named Lynn hung up on me. Second time I called and it rang forever and then Lynn picked up and I started off with "I think I was hung up on" and she hung up. Anyone know a mechanic who can operate a phone? I just need to replace a headlight.

So they are very friendly. But i have took my car to them to have realignment done. When i got my car back the steering wheel now sits to the left and my car pulls left. Complete disappointment.

The work was fine, but I went there with a pair of 300 dollar custom made Oakley Sunglasses, when I left they were gone, I went back and nothing was done about it. Will never go back.

Work seems to be ok. With an appointment I waited 2 hrs. 1 hr. 5 min. Before they pulled it in. They seem to be nice, but plan on several hours when you take a car there.
