To be honest, when I first went to the store, some of MY expectations were not met. I brought in some obnoxiously huge, cheap bias ply mud tires I found online to be mounted. After driving off with them, I didnt think they rode as smooth as they should. I was surprised, because I was fairly confident Firestone would do a great job, considering my interaction with the service technician, Randy. He was very nice, knowledgeable and had a professional demeanor. I took my truck back in and expected a gruff response and minimal service just to get me out of the shop, but my experience was anything but that. At Firestones (Richs) guidance, I called the company I purchased the tires from. They said the tires acted like that on the road because they were bias ply and designed for off road use only. Next, to help me in my predicament, Rich cut me a great deal on mounting some tires on my wifes Corolla and finding some quality MTs for my truck. He invited me to the back of the shop and took his time (I could tell he was busy!) answering all my question and showing me the different sizes of MTs they had available. He even directed to get a Firestone credit card to save an extra amount on the tires. Another issue occurred when I miss-understood exactly how I was supposed to go about getting the rebate and ended up missing the due date by a day. I went in to the Firestone, knowing it was my fault, just wanting to double check the paper work and make sure I was indeed wrong. This time I was sure I would have worn out their employees patience and be treated like "that guy," but that was far from my experience! Rich directed me to the store manager, Mark, who kindly walked me through the paperwork (they were again very busy), showing me where and why I had got confused. Shockingly, he said they would go to bat for me and see what they could do since I had misunderstood them. He directed me to Suzie to assist me in this. Suzie was extremely nice. She is obviously VERY well trained in her position. Rather than giving me some customer service numbers to call, she did it her self! She went through all the super frustrating voice automated "push 1 for..." commands and finally got a human being on the phone. She knew all the right questions to ask and eventually got the manager on the phone. I dont think that company would have treated me with the same respect as a Firestone employee. Suzie did all the frustrating work for me... and the credit card company ended up approving my rebate! On top of all this, I work for a company that frequently services its vehicles. After getting an expensive estimate at the shop we normally go to, I suggested we take our van to Firestone to get a second opinion. Firestone found that what was wrong was not all the high dollar repairs the other company had suggested, but that one of the back tires was just about to split in two! This find very well may have saved someones life. All of these interactions with Firestone took place in about a months time. This has been by far the best customer service experience of my life. Really, Im not the guy that normally takes the time to write a review, but, considering the exceptional nature of Firestones service, I honestly felt morally obligated to. Thank you Firestone for hiring, training and creating an environment that would retain such exemplary employees. You have earned a customer for life, and I will recommend everyone I know to Firestone for their car repair needs.

3 bad experiences here, shouldve learned my lesson the first time. First, came in for a simple brake job (new pads), somehow mechanic got air in the brake line, long story short, car was in shop for 3 days, First they let me drive off in my car with malfunctioning brakes (almost crashed into the back of my gfs car after she dropped me off to pick up the car). Then they unnecessarily replaced master brake cylinder, that didnt fix it (thanks for the free $300 part). Turned out to be wrong sized brake pads, oops. Another time, came in for an oil change, waited 2 hours and opened up the hood as soon as they released the car to me only to find about a third of a quart of oil all over the engine compartment and engine cover. I wont go into the 3rd because as I said before, I shouldve learned my lesson, but money was tight and couldnt do the fix without the 90 days same as cash credit card I have with them. Avoid using this station at all costs. Ive had much better success at the Firestone on Manchester in Ballwin. Much more professional.

I had taken both of my cars there for service. Always had good service, until last couple visits. After describing issue to them, car was diagnosed and was told what needed done. Work was performed. Couple weeks later, issue was back. Returned to shop to have re-evaluated for misdiagnose. Was then told I needed complete rear suspension replaced. Did not have work performed. Took car to a local garage. Car was inspected and diagnosed with a broken mount and bad coupler. Car was fixed. Issue resolved. Surprised a respected name shop, like Firestone, did not find this problem. Will only patronize local businesses from now on.

Im accustomed to getting the "car salesman" feel from most of the chain servicing stations around the country, but this particular Firestone has been much more personable and down-to-earth than most Ive dealt with. I only use them for their deals: oil changes, which are discounted if you have their credit card, the lifetime rotation/balance package, and for anything covered by my auto warranty. So, my experience with them is limited. As always, youll find better prices and comparable quality at smaller stations when it comes to bigger jobs, but for standard servicing and discounts, this place does everything you expect of them.

After doing research on the internet, Firestone was the best deal on tires. After I was told they had my size and I gave the go ahead they then informed me that my actual wheel was bigger than what they thought and were going to charge me $100 more per tire. I said forget it and put my tires back on. Needless to say they came back down to my original price. Then after they had the new tires on the wheels the Mgr came out and informed me that I needed new joints and boots in all wheels, costing over $2500. I said not now. I had them looked at somewhere else and was told that was not needed. Hard to find an honest place....

This place is great, they are really good about getting the car in quickly and doing the job right. They really care about their customers here will be straight forward with you and wont make something up about your car needing a certain repair. I always get my oil changes done here because of their pricing and the care they take with the service, and I have their lifetime alignment so I get that done as well. When I had to take my vehicle in for a repair they were straight forward with what I needed done and even offered to show me. Ive never had bad service or experience here and will definitely be back!

Im a mechanic and this Firestone is one of the few shops I trust to work on my vehicles. Of course theres always room for improvement anywhere but Mark, the Store Manager, will address any shortcoming in customer service if you take the time to explain any situation you might encounter. I strongly recommend them and if theres a problem make sure you bring it up with Mark, hell handle it. Ive had reliable service from the shop, under his leadership, for years. Thanks Mark for running such a dependable shop!
