Dodge St. Tire - Best Auto Repair Iowa City! Expert fair-priced service, family owned and operated. Dodge St. Tire is my exclusive auto repair Iowa City service center for all six of my family vehicles. I bring my cars in for regular oil changes and tire rotations. All of Brians mechanics watch for potential problems and let me know the options so that I can plan. Bob is an expert, personable front desk service interface between the mechanics and the customers. I spend a considerable amount of money each year keeping my cars running dependably. I prefer to give all of my business to Dodge St. Tire because I know they will always do it right. Dodge St. Tire has been my one and only Iowa City Auto Repair facility for 7 years and will continue to be for as long as I own a car. They are the BEST IOWA CITY CAR REPAIR in town! I buy all my tires there, and I really like using nitrogen to keep the tires properly inflated. It saves me money in the long run with better mileage, more consistent tire pressures for handling, as well as preserving tire life.

TLDR: These guys are dope, give them your business! I play in a band, and we needed to go out of town for a couple of shows. I noticed the front end of my car making some squeaking noises and was a little worried about taking it very far. DST had inspected it before, so I knew I had some repairs coming. I gave them a call, and Brian said I should come in right away so they could take a quick listen. After taking a short drive, they said everything would be fine for now and that I could get on the road. Since there was no repair at this time, they didnt even charge me for it! Im really thankful that they got me in so quickly and that they really care about their customers. They werent trying to force any other repairs on me, and I feel like I can trust them. This is the way to run a business!

Ive been coming to Dodge Street Tire & Auto ever since I moved here from Ohio. I choose to use them because I read several reviews about their quality work and Honesty. I have to say after the past four years Ive been a customer theyve been amazing with diagnosing and repairing my cars. Recently my college student had been driving home from Ohio and while she was in Indiana she had a unusual warning light appeared on her dash. So she called Brian! Although over 600 miles away Brian was able to help her diagnose the problem and found her find a near by trusted mechanic to help her. I want to Thank Brian and everybody at Dodge St Tire & Auto for being the kind of mechanics you love to know and trust!

These guys are great, seriously. Had a minor problem with my exhaust, turned out a weld broke. They informed me of it, told me to go a local muffler shop to get it done. They called them ahead of time, and I got it fixed...FOR FREE. So based on that experience, I went in to get my tires rotated, dropped the car off, returned about 2 hours later, gave me my keys back, "Its on me". FREE AGAIN. I know theyre minor services, but that was the only thing I was getting done. And getting it done for free, especially when my finances are kinda bad, is crazy awesome. $20 saved, straight to gas. I wont go anywhere else as long as Im in Iowa City.

I took my headache of a car here based on prior reviews and I have to say, I was extremely impressed! I had no idea what was wrong with my car and never once did they talk to me in a way that made me feel I was being taken advantage of. They even double-checked some things I had checked in the past at a different mechanic and explained that many of those things did not need done. My car was up and running in no time. Their labor seemed steep at first, but once you realize these guys arent taking advantage of you, the labor price goes out the window. They are clearly very knowledgeable and genuine guys--HIGHLY recommend!!

These guys are the best!!! They are honest, straight-forward, and just overall good people. Ive brought them all sorts of cars in all sorts of conditions and they have always told me upfront what it would cost (before the repairs), fixed what what broken, and, when the car frankly wasnt worth the repairs, they said that too. I appreciate that sort of honesty. They could have made some money off of me, but they instead chose to tell me the truth. And that is awesome. Ive known lots of people who taken their cars there, and never heard one complaint. And every time Ive tried another mechanic, Ive been sorely disappointed.

Magnificent service and work. They dont try to upsell or suggest unnecessary or early repairs. They are honest about what needs to be done and upfront about cost. The customer service is impeccable, always friendly and flexible. They offer rides if you need to drop your car off, though the location is also right next to a bus route. I have been going here for over three years and dont plan on changing. The only improvement I could suggest is carpet vacuum with oil changes. This is the first place I ran into that doesnt do that, but the great customer service and prices make up for it!

This is the BEST not one of the bests in the area! They are professional and honest about every detail. They top-off all the under the hood fluid every time for free even I just did a oil/filter change. Bringing my car to them the fourth time to do the oil change and maintenance the coming Friday. They also replaced all of the missing clips under the front bumper for free. They never sell you anything you dont need and they never over charge. They are also very fast although they are packed! DO NOT go anywhere else besides Dodge St Tire if you are in Iowa City!!!!!!!

I called this place asking if I could have a hole in my tire patched which was punctured by a nail. After dropping off my car, they spent two hours and told me that they couldnt patch the tire. They then tried to get me to purchase two brand new tires which I did not need. They didnt even put the hub cap back on my wheel for me. Went to a different shop 5 minutes away and they patched up the tire in 30 minutes and still havent had problem with it today. Classic mechanics trying to scam people into buying parts that dont need replacement.

DODGE ST. TIRE -You dont know good service until you go here. Honestly, the best experience I have ever had with a car repair shop. Your car will get fixed properly. Great staff, friendly people that make you feel good you went there and feel good paying them, and you dont feel like you just got robbed. Knowledgeable,honest, community minded, family owned and operated. Conscientious. They wont let you make foolish choices with you car. I personally wont go anywhere else. Pardon the pun, but they have really good karma.

I was traveling in from out of town and blew a tire on I 80. They had me going in less than an hour with 2 tires and the price was unbelievably affordable. This business is a true example of customer service still being a priority with some business owners. If you have tire and automotive needs and you dont go here, its your own fault because they are the real deal. 5 on service, 5 on price, 5 on EVERYTHING! Co workers recommended them and I knew why within the first 30 seconds of arriving there. GO SEE THEM
