I took my Nissan Xtera in to WalMart and had 4 new Bridgestone Duelers fitted. During the installation, I get a call informing me that I needed to get new sensors on the front 2 tires (I had never had a problem with mine before!). They were $50 a pop. They install these and call me to collect the SUV. The tires are great, but the Tire Pressure light keeps flashiong and stays on. I call the Customer Service/Manager and he informs me to bring the car back. I bring it in and after 4 hours, I get told that WalMart does not have the code to reset Tire Sensors. I get told to take it to Nissan. I ask: "What is that going to cost?" and the response from the Manager is: "Not sure, but ours are cheeper than theirs!" This is a joke. For the little I saved at Walmart, it is going to cost me far more in time and money having to run around sorting out this problem. Very Unhappy! Bryan

I had three Nails in two tires. They patched one and had to order a second one. All fine there. Next day I go back to get second tire put on and they had no room. Had to change it myself in the parking lot. The guy that put my spare on the day before broke the board cover to my spare tire which I figured out when I went to put on the new tire. Even after all that I would have been okay with it but no discount for having to change my own tire. I even asked and the guy said "nope". Not sorry sir... Or even I wish I could... Just nope.

Showed up at six to buy two new tires. Was told they didnt have time. They close at seven. Was lied to by attendant who told me all bays were full. (there was only one car) The attendant also told me it would take 45 minutes to change two tires. I can do all four in less time with a hand jack. Will not come here again and will tell everyone else to stay away.

This is the best Walmart Tire & Lube Express in the Des Moines area. They are very attentive and do fantastic work. I have had several of my cars tires rotated, balanced, swapped and the end result is always a smooth ride. I was especially pleased with the attitude of MarJay and the manager, Chad. Kudos to them for always doing a great job.

They offer headlight replacements for $7.50 (plus cost of bulb) so since I needed an oil change I figured might as well get a headlight fixed. Turns out they couldnt figure out how to replace the bulb and the manager on duty wasnt able to as well. This speaks volumes to the potential incompetence you may run into at this location.

been there numerous times, its the only parts store in the area, every time I walked away angry. Guy helping me today was literally too stupid to work the fry station at McDonalds

Not satisfied, I gave my car for low beam bulb installation. They just screwed it. High beam lights stopped working.
