The service is garbage! I paid for a full inspection for peace of mind because I have an older car with lots of miles. I definitely did not get peace of mind here. I came in telling them Ive been hearing a grinding sound coming from the drum brakes most likely in the rear however the guy up front came out later and said they could find anything that could cause Grinding. I kindly reminded him that it was the drum brakes and he came back later and said oh yeah its definitely the drum brakes, "theyre metal on metal" I mean, come on?! Then they couldnt check me out because they couldnt find the paperwork to my car, so 10 min was wasted looking for it. They never found it. When I left, it was in the car with the inspection form not even filled out! Thanks guys! $160 bucks later.... inspection, swap snow tires off, and oil change? WASTE OF MONEY.

Be extremely careful with this shop! I recently took my car to the Firestone in West Des Moines for a front brake change. Firestone employee called within an hour and said they could change my front brakes for almost $1200 (from the original quote of $485)! They tried to claim I needed front brake calipers because my sliders were frozen and irrepairable. I decided to take my car to a dealership for a second opinion. The dealership said the calipers did not need to be replaced, just cleaned and they could do it all for $285. My family had been using this Firestone location for years, but no sense of customer loyalty or customer service kept them from trying to take full advantage of me!

Brought my car in to replace two rear shocks and it was supposed to take 1 day, ended up being 3 days. Left the shop and the car is worst off than when I brought it in. I had to call them to verify what the noise was and they said I will have to take the car to the dealership to fix. They never advise me my car needed to go to dealership. If I did not call I wouldnt have known. Also they said they replaced two shocks, but when I went to the dealership they advised me only one shock was replaced. Poor service!!!

Do not go to this pace all they will do it rip you off. I took my truck in because my breaks squeaked from one break ( front right) they said I needed new calibers on both sides. So I took it to midas down the street and all I need was new pads. It was my break ware indicator making the squeak. WARNING do not go to this firestone.. There whole staff has a I dont give a crap attitude and half the time they are sitting up front when they could be working on your car.

Do NOT go here! Took my car in for an A/C leak. Charged me $225 to just diagnose the issue. Then gave me a quote for an additional $900 to repair the leak, with $500 in parts direct from a dealer. I took my car to a different shop for a second opinion and they fixed the A/C leak for a total bill of $235, with $70 in parts direct from a dealer. Youve been warned this Firestone is a Rip Off!

In a world where we are taught to not trust those in the car business or sales, this firestone in particular has definitely shown me that there are good people who pride themselves on great service and honesty. They are a company who cares about its customers and their car needs. I sill be a loyal customer for as long as I reside in this area!

Avoid this location. I had them attempt to put in three different alternators with no success. I finally had to take my car to a different place. Bad customer service and mechanics who are either inexperience or just dont care. I like Firestone, I just find this franchise is really poorly operated.

I was greeted right away but the person behind the counter didnt even look up from the PC until I handed him my key. Then he said it would be a hour which is find but they had it done in 20 mins. Now Im not complaining. But can you really rotate and balance 4 tires in 20 minutes??

Feels like a family owned shop. I drive past other Firestones to come to this specific one for oil changes and simple work. I know a moderate amount about cars and am very wary of shops. I trust these guys as much as Ill ever trust a shop. Thanks.

Couldnt be more pleased with the service we always get from this store. Friendly staff, great prices and they really stick to a timeline. Got 4 new tires and an alignment last night in less than one hour. Great job!!!!!

Firestone pads the bill with unnecessary, unwanted, unauthorized services. Shop elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are plenty of other tire shops, find one... unless youre interested in getting ripped off.
