The guys who moved my stuff were in a rush because they wanted to watch the Chiefs game. After the move, everything seemed fine. The service they provided was fast and they were friendly. Later I found some issues with the move. 1: When moving my stuff from my apartment, they left about a 12 foot dent along the wall going down the stairs. Its conspicuous because its a black dent. 2: Theres a chip on the front of my media entertainment center. 3: They moved a piece of furniture that I told them I didnt want moved. 4: My bed was set up completely wrong. After sleeping on it for a week, I realized it felt unsteady, and took the mattress off. It is a slatted bed with 4 pegs running along the slats in the middle of the bed to carry some weight. Three of the pegs were bent so that they werent holding any weight and the other way lying on the floor. 5: Moving my 60 plasma TV, one guy basically picked it up, moved it to the truck, and secured it without any boxing. He left finger prints all over the panel. I started tightening the screws and straightening the pegs realized that one peg was much longer than the others. I realized there was a gap between the peg and the slats that I couldnt tighten through. Turns out that they had pulled the metal housing (for the screw) from another peg out, and tried to use it along with a peg that already had its metal housing. The one that was missing the metal housing was the one lying on the floor, as the screw did not fit into it. First off, this is not a shoddy bed. Its good quality. Second off, if there were issues putting the bed together, they should have made me aware. They obviously didnt have half the brain matter required to screw four simple pegs or the courtesy to tell me something was wrong. -- To conclude, the service was overpriced, rushed, careless, and discourteous. I cannot recommend this branch.

So far my experience stems from using their website and speaking on the phone with their representative. They are the first company I have called, but I am very impressed. First of all their website is extremely easy to use and helpful. Their form for requesting quotes is simple and straightforward. It even says polite things to you and is a bit funny and light-hearted. I enjoyed that. Next, they called me within 10 minutes of putting in that quote request and when they were unable to leave me a voicemail they emailed me. I then called them back about 15 minutes later and spoke with Andre. He was very professional, direct, and to the point with information. Andre asked me the relevant information to give me a fairly accurate quote based on estimated moving time. Considering they are including the cost of the truck, 2 or 3 men (depending on which you choose), moving supplies, the cost of fuel, and they pack and insure your items. It seems like a really good deal. That said, I still will do my due diligence and get a few more quotes from others. But all in all I am very impressed with them so far and they come highly recommended by others I know that have used them or know someone that has.

I will never use these movers again. They charged double what they estimated and I was truthful in what I had for them to move. When they did the initial walk through when they got there at no point did they indicate that there truck would not be able to hold my stuff instead they waited until they conveniently had half my stuff on their truck to tell me that they would either need to get another truck or come back on a different day to get the rest. They had me over a barrel and they took advantage of it. Furthermore they didnt listen to anything I said. I told them not to load certain things and they loaded it, I told them exactly what I needed loaded and they missed a lot of it. They damaged the floor in my old place and they damaged the doors in my new place. They also damaged my expensive office desk in 2 places. Public beware especially if you are a single woman. They only had to move me 5 miles down the road and it took them 12 hours to do it. Public beware, I would not use this moving company. I had the worst experience of my life and I have moved over 4 times in the last 8 years so I have used almost all the ones out there. These guys were the worst and the most expensive.

First - My only experience with this company consists of attempting to get a quote. I DID NOT get moved by them. I spoke with the Overland Park office. The attitude and treatment was appalling. First, she let me their minimum was 5,000 pounds. Fine, no problem. I qualify. Then she let me know (with a cheery attitude) the quote from Ft. Riley (I am active duty Army getting out of service) to Detroit, MI would be "starting at $6,000." I said, "Wow, thats about $4,000 more than the other FOUR quotes Ive gotten." She replied, "Well, have a good day." And attempted to get off the phone. I explained Wichita couldnt help due to being a new franchise and lacking interstate clearance, and that Michigan referred me to her. She basically said too bad, "thats how we do it." I explained I had heard so much good about the company, how it was started so long ago by college students in East Lansing, MI, and how Im from Michigan and wanted to give them my business. She didnt acknowledge that I said any of those things and said, "Well, have a good day." That was it. Disgusting.

Our first experience with this company was great. The movers were professional and speedy. Our second experience was quite the opposite. The movers lollygagged and managed to break two pieces of furniture. Two of the movers would say disrespectful things in Spanish about the third mover. It look twice as long to move as it did with the first experience (same furniture). We spoke with management about our poor experience, and at first, they were trying hard to make amends. The desk piece that broke was taken to be fixed (which was fixed after 4 weeks), The dresser was examined by them. It was determined they would not be able to fix it so we would be compensated. For a $800 6 month old dresser, they offered us $50 in compensation. We pushed back and they went up to $100. After dealing with them for 8 weeks, we realized we werent getting anywhere with them and settled. Dont trust your money and furniture with this company.

I am rating these guys a 1 because they at least moved my stuff from here to there, but that is all I can say! First, they left my daughters TV at the pick-up address and then argued with me that no such TV existed. When I told them to go get it, the reply was, "NOW?" Then, they did not lift my Big Screen TV onto the stand, had difficulty putting my bed frames together, put the wrong box springs with the wrong mattresses, took casters off of a computer stand and lost them, put heavy boxes that were clearly labeled as to the appropriate destination in the garage, and left numerous boxes at the pick up address which I ended up moving myself with the help of my young daughter! It might not have been so bad had they not argued with me regarding the existence of the TV! Once they started arguing with me, that was it!
