For me, a mechanic is all about trust. Alberto at Wheat State has earned my trust over the years. I trust his integrity to give me an honest assessment about my car, and his skill to make the necessary repairs. For the first time in my life, Ive felt PEACE dropping my car off at the mechanic. I know they wont rip me off. What a blessing! Ive had 2 repairs done now, and both were timely and effective. My cars are running great, price was great, and Alberto was good at contacting me at my cell # to let me know when its ready. I definitely recommend Wheat State to anyone!

We highly recommend Wheat State Automotive Repair. I just took my 2010 Ford Fusion last week. It was running so ruggedly that I could hardly go up an entrance ramp. After the repairs, the car drove like it did when I first purchased it. Amazing! Plus he fixed my keyless entry that NEVER worked before. And it was returned to me vacuumed and shiny outside too. From NE to Houston my Civic seriously started leaking coolant. Had to stop in Wichita for immediate service on the 4th of July. The owner got me in right away and was very honest with me. The issue was a very serious one and I was hundreds of miles from home. He not only helped with the car, but also showed willingness to help in any other way he reasonably could. Obviously he cares very much about his customers! Charge was very reasonable. Certainly would go out of my way to make him my regular mechanic if I lived in the Wichita area.

I have taken my 15-year-old Blazer to Alberto several times and he has made it hum each time. I trust him completely to diagnose and fix any problem. When he was a master mechanic at a major dealership here in Wichita I took my Camaro to him to fix a brake problem that had stymied many other mechanics and cost me well over $1000 dollars. Alberto fixed it and I never had another problem. His shop is very accessible just west of 13th and I-135.

The repair to my 08 Chevy Cobalt was done quickly and well. Alberto did not just replace the AC compressor because it was not working but found that there was merely a wire broken so he soldered it back together and replaced the wire covering. Now my AC works great and I did not have to go through the expensive process of replacing all of my AC components that need to be replaced if the compressor is replaced.
