I was first quoted $85 an hour and a couple of days later it was $115 an hour. They estimated 4-5 hours but they said they usually finish sooner. They took over 7 hours which included numerous water breaks and one took a 30 minute bathroom break. I had one desk, a bedroom suite without mattresses, 3 small bookshelves, a recliner, 4 small tables, TV and stand, small round dining table with 4 chairs, no appliances or other furniture and the rest was boxes and a very small amount of misc items. Im single so I didnt have that much. They wouldnt move any open boxes. The contract has so many exclusions that you have to initial and then sign, and this after youve paid the $100 deposit and youre responsible for the 2 hour minimum - sign or not youre already out over $300. These exclusions say theyre basically not responsible for anything including damage or theft and, as an example of what they will cover, theyll pay only .60 cents a pound for your big screen TV if they damage it. The movers had talked about tips so I asked one of them how much the usual tip was and he said it was usually $10 - $20 each. Later the other guy said that most people tipped $50 or more and said that people "with money" were the worst tippers and people like me (elderly, on Social Security) , tipped better because we understood how little they were paid. He went on with this for several minutes and I pretty much felt obligated to give them $50 each. What I thought would cost me no more than $500 ended up costing over $900 with tips. I think they took advantage of me. I cannot recommend this company.

I have used Two Men and Truck numerous times; in fact, for my most recent move, my employer wanted me to use a different company, but the quote I received from them felt higher than necessary, so I asked to use Two Men and Truck. They requested a quote, which Jaime came out and provided. Her quote was spot on and there were no surprise charges. As for the movers, they were fantastic. Sean and Robby showed up within the specified time frame and hustled to get everything out of the house within about an hour. I was definitely impressed. The new location was a historic building that had some stairs and an elevator, but they still managed to move fast and wrap things up within two hours. In addition to being fast, they were friendly and careful with how they handled everything. I would happily use Two Men and Truck Northern Kentucky again and would not have any concerns at all if I were to work with Jaime, Robby, and Sean. They were all phenomenal.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! You will waste time on the phone and mass up your moving schedule. the receptionist was incompetent and did horrible job with scheduling my moving. First phone call, computer was down after I gave all my information. She never bothers to call back to schedule my moving. I had to call next day to repeat my information to schedule moving. On the day of moving, people didn’t show up. I called and receptionist said that our moving schedule was never scheduled even though they took my credit card for $100 deposit. I was very upset on the phone and I wanted to have some reinvestment or discount since their service was horrible. They did not care about the fact that they massed up my schedule. Moving 6/27/2016 8 am-9am was my plan but I had to move hot nasty humid weather afternoon around 1pm-4pm. The mover did good job but I would not recommend to my friends and family for the horrible service.

If I could give a negative star, I would. Yes, they arrived on time and that was all that went right with the move. I was told they couldnt move my refrigerator because the movers wasnt comfortable doing it. They actually encouraged me to call another company. After calling the office, they sent a supervisor to take the door off. While moving it, they got it wedged in an area where I told them it wouldnt fit. This ordeal took FOREVER. One of the movers dropped my chair in the front yard while trying to put it on his head. They left a box of wood, after my husband asked 3 times if they got it and was told yes. He was told they dont have time to go back and get it. I only had one bedroom to move-no boxes or big ticket items. It took them 8 HOURS. I would NEVER recommend using this company.

Fantastic experience! Everything about the move went smoothly. We packed ourselves, but bought boxes, paper, and tape from Two Men and a Truck which were good quality (the clear tape is easier to deal with than the brown). They provided the right amount of movers and trucks based on a verbal evaluation. The movers were polite, trustworthy, and very efficient. One offered to sweep our garage since the former owners left it a mess; that way, nothing would be tracked inside. They asked if they could lay down material mats in places to avoid floor damage rather than plopping them down. Nothing they was moved was damaged. They significantly undercharged us for boxes in error, but they told me I didnt need to repay it. Everything went right. This has been our best moving experience ever!

I called with just a little over a 24 hour notice and they were able to accommodate my desperate need for movers to unload a Uhaul. The 3 men ( one was a trainee) were incredible! I was introduced to each of them and was given an opportunity to explain our situation and show them around the house to where I needed the boxes to be stored. The men were kind, respectful and extremely professional. They had great personalities and we really enjoyed the experience. Strong, quick, efficient and respectful of the boxes, furniture and our home. I could not have asked for a better experience! I will not hesitate to call Two Men and a Truck again!! Thank you so much.

I had a fantastic experience with Two Men and a Truck. From the initial estimate to the completion of the move, the representatives I dealt with were friendly, professional and did all they could to decrease my overall stress level. The movers arrived on time and went strait to work, taking every procaution to ensure neither the furniture or apartment were damaged. They were able to load and offload the truck in less time that estimated, saving me both time an money. They too were both courteous and professional. While I hope this is the last time I have to move for a while, I can guarantee they will be my first call the next time I need to move.

I would highly advise avoiding this company. My mother had her move scheduled for over a week and was quoted it would cost between $1300 and $1700. Then two days before the move shes told it will cost over double that at $4000, leaving my mom only a couple days to scramble and try and find other movers. Ive heard good things about Two Men and a Truck but this particular location seems to be striving to ruin their good reputation. So if you go with this company make sure your first quote is accurate and get it back well before your move is scheduled so you know what youre really getting into.
