My family has used Mr Transmission of Florence frequently over the last couple of years. My first experience with Susan and the Mr Transmission crew was necessitated by a rough shifting transmission in our 2008 Mercury Mariner. I was convinced that we needed a new or rebuilt transmission due to research on the internet. I described the symptoms to Brian and Susan and asked for an estimate of a new or rebuilt transmission. I am no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express the night before. That does not change the fact that I was convinced that major repairs were on the horizon. Much to my surprise, the problem was only a leaking seal on the transmission. Since we acted quickly, there was no damage your transmission. We were up and running for a few hundred dollars versus a few thousand. Mr Transmission fixed our vehicle very quickly and they stand behind their work. Most importantly, they were honest. They could have very easily quoted me for major repairs. For the many drivers like myself who are not mechanically inclined, you cant beat honesty. I trust Susan, Brian and their crew and now we use them for oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance. You may very well need a transmission or major repairs but at least you can rest assured that the needs are legitimate.

Susan was a HUGE help. I was traveling and had a problem with my Mazda CX-9 transfer case(awd) She began calling around for a replacement part. She ended up speaking with local Mazda dealer. She asked if there was any kind of recall or warranty on the transfer case. Turns out there was a extended warranty on the the T. C. up to 90,000 miles. I had 90,567 miles. When she asked the dealer if they would cover it being it was only 567 miles over. She was told no. Susan suggested I take my car to the dealer and speak to them face to face. After speaking with Mazda Customer Care the transfer case will be replaced under warranty. Susan and her Mr. Transmission shop saved me a couple of thousand dollars. She didnt have to do that. Just goes to show you that there are "Honest and kind people" in this world. THANK YOU SUSAN AND MR. TRANSMISSION.!!!!!

Excellent scheduling! Got me in the very next morning. Very helpful about dropping my car off, they have a key drop box. They communicated extremely well through the repair process. I had someone else from a different place fix my car (I thought) but the previous place didnt do a good job and told me it was probably my transmission. I took it to Mr. Transmission, expecting the worst. They repaired it in a day! It was not transmission, basically they redid the previous job from other place and did some additional work, VERY VERY COMPENENT! Not my transmission, Bryan from Mr. Transmission, was fair, honest and thorough! What I thought was going to be more than$1,000. Ended up being, less than $400. Plus, they guarantee their work! My car runs better than it ever has since I bought it!!!! Great job, THANK YOU, MR. TRANSMISSION!

Could not find any negative reviews before I went to this place. Believe me, I did not want to take it to a random place. First warning sign was how long it took to replace transmission. After ready had to turn around again within minutes since it was shifting badly. Claimed they took it for test drive. Month later fluid was seeping out weep hole - Overfilled fluid. 6 months into this and they had to fix for another week. Last but least - Went out again 1 month after warranty expired and they would not honor. Doesnt that stink. Lesson - A fool and his money will soon depart. Everybody wants every penny you make.

I started having trouble with my 2010 Jeep Wrangler and since I know nothing about cars or car repair I asked around. A lady I worked with suggested Mr. Transmission. Both her and her mother had brought their vehicles in and were very satisfied with the service.So I brought my car in and they took a look at it and explained what I needed. They even took me back to show me the part that was bad and explained to me the cost.They had it in and out that day with no hidden cost like other places Ive been to. I would highly recommend Mr. Transmission.

This company went above and beyond to help me with getting a critical part of my transmission replaced. Not only were they able to replace the part for me at a reasonable price, I didnt have much time to work with. By the time I arrived with my car the shop was closing in 2 hours. I thought for sure I would not have a car over night, but the men working in the garage were able to work some miracles for me. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends, and those who want impeccable customer service..

I was visiting from out of town when my cars transmission fuel switch went out and needed to be replaced. Mr Transmission saved the day when I showed up in the morning and they were able to fit me in for same-day service so I could get back on the road home. The price was very reasonable too. The only reason I am not rating 5 stars is I found a small scratch on my drivers side door that materialized between when I dropped my car off and picked it up. Overall, I would definitely recommend them!

Perfect Customer Service over the phone and also in person. The convience of having the vechile fixed in one day made me not want to price check their competitors. The only reason I hestiate to give 5 stars is it was pricey and I just had it picked up today. I will gladly comeback and give a 5th star, if I am able to callback 3 months from now and receive the same level of service.

They were so awesome. Bryan(the owner) was so accommodating and so friendly. I highly suggest you go to the one in Florence. He even got me a rental when he knew he was going to have my car longer than expected. These guys are the best and thank you so much! Plus the price was totally reasonable. 3,899 for a transmission heck yeah. My car runs better than it did when I bought it.

I and father in law had horrible dealings with this place. Welcome to try, meet the owner and you will immediately sense something is wrong. Looks like family and friends posted some 5 star reviews for a transmission store. Dishonest and cheap trick by owner wouldnt you say? I and people in general read reviews for a truthful opinion, not a biased one.

I highly recommend. Brian is great to work with even though he had to deliver expensive news to me. My truck has been out of the shop for about a month and I had no problems. Transmission rebuilt and I had them look over the transfer case also. A little more expensive than Id like but, the warranty is worth it.
