Hooked my cable up gave me DVR didnt tell me it was for 3 months only also said I needed that type of box to received 200 more channels got my bill saw offer goin to expire on Oct 6 called in to customer care ask them what offer sec rep said oh for the DVR it 56 with tax only for 3 months I was like huh I wasnt told that she said yes it will then be 87 soon n that what I was told about having a DVR box to get 200 more free channels was not true because a regular box will give me the same amount of channels also they say u pays a month n advance but I received a bill three weeks after I paid them to put service in I was like I just paid yalll oh its due again I said well thats not a month n advance it I paid u on July 9 n owe u again right before sept I take advance as I paid n July to use in sept when I really paid n July for July BC I had to pay again before sept was even fully in rip offffffffff

The internet and phone service is decent for the cost. The customer service is the worst i have ever had to deal with. I have had the service for 7 months and im still waiting on the gift card that was offered when i sign the contract. I have put at minimum 15 calls over the 7 month span to get this issue resolved. I received the gift card for best buy today and when i went to use it the guy at best buy said the card was used on Feb. 25th. of 2015... Thanks for sending me a card that was used over a month before i received it. I called to speak with someone about this situation and that department is closed on Saturdays. I hang up with Time Warner and i received 19 calls from Time Warner over the next 30 minutes. Every time i answer the phone no one is there. Thanks for horrible service and prank calling my phone, very professional company you all are running here in Northern Kentucky....

DO NOT TRUST what the door to door salesman says.. I was suppose to receive a $300 gift card 90 days after switching from previous provider. 90 days went by.. Come to find out you have to register for the promotion, never got an email about registration nor did the salesman say anything about. Then their custom service was saying I would get it after another 90 days after I register.. so now we are looking at half a year! and the promotion I agreed to was for "$89 a mo. Gets you a gift card"...then being transferred from "Scotty" to "Richard" tier III CS is now telling me I didnt even qualified for the promotion based on the packaged I picked... I DIDNT PICK THE PACKAGE.. its whatever the door to door salesman signed me up for. Word to the wise stay away from twc.

Up until recently we were very happy with Time Warner. Now, however, theyre being taken over by another company and its pretty much been awful dealing with them. When you call you now get a call center where you can hear stuff going on in the background. I could hardly hear the woman trying to give me instructions, only to find out later from the guy they sent out to move our equipment from one apartment to another that they are just reading instructions off of a screen and none of them know anything about cable or Internet. We had such pleasant dealings with them before and now Im just tired of it. DVR wont work since the move, spend 25 min on the phone only to have the answer be "Just take it back to the TWC location and get a new one"

Time Warner is the WORST company that I have ever dealt with in my entire life! They are nothing but money hungry scam artists. No one knows what they are doing and the internet service is horrible!!! I ordered 50 megs of internet, because I was told that if I kept it for 2 months that I would receive a Samsung Tablet. 3 months after the 2 months and I still have not received it. When I called I was told that it was 90 days and because I was late, 5 days, on my 3rd months bill that I was no longer eligible. I have no idea where their "team" was taught math, but 2 months is 60 days not 90. I will NEVER recommend Time Warner to ANYONE and am canceling my service through them and going with CB where the internet is cheaper anyway.

Had small issue with my cable boxes @ 2:00 PM on Saturday not being able to connect with VOD server. Everything else worked fine. Called service for help. They "initialized" all 3 of my HD boxes and took out any ability to watch ANY TV what so ever and service tech could not get me back to same place I was at. Said I needed to have tech come to house and sort it out. Asked to speak to supervisor, that was totally worthless - no sense of urgency, no compassion that TWC killed my boxes, told me Monday service visit best they could do. The fact we do not have a choice in cable suppliers in same area is the reason they can get away with this terrible customer service - If I could I would dump them in a heart beat!

Between midnight and 2:00 AM several nights a week, our cable TV service in Northern Kentucky is interrupted by a "Require weekly test of the emergency broadcast system." The last few nights, we have endured three of these test in the same two hour period! If these are a "required weekly test" then why do we endure over twenty of these "required weekly test" every week? As each of these "required weekly test" are accompanied by an obnoxious "ALERT" tone, cable TV customers must turn of their TVs to avoid awakening other family members who are sleeping in the household. Again, if it is a "required weekly test" then why is it being broadcast over twenty times each week?

One of the worst companies to deal with. Have had trouble with the internet for over four weeks. Told their customer service reps it always goes in and out at night and during the early day it intermittent. So they sedn 3 different technicians out to my house always in the early morning and all but one say that there is no problem. The one said maintenance needs to come out to the house and check the lines outside. When I call to set this up they act like they dont know what their technician was talking about. He said since I was the only one in my neighborhood with the extreme internet it was not worth it for time warner to fix and I was pretty much SOL.

I have enjoyed the Internet service twc provides for years, I have had some wifi problems, but because of where I live, much of that is outside inferences. As far as outages, I have never had an unscheduled outage, other than power (storms, someone h I think a pole, etc.). I have had other Internet service providers(having lived in 3 countries, 12 states) none except for in the Kansas City area have come close to twc. In kc I lived very close to a provider that had me almost directly connected to their optics/building. I have learned and know I would pay more for twc Internet, than waste money for cheaper less reliable internet.
