I cannot speak ill of their internet but i can when it comes to their customer service i miss one bill after dealing with them upping my prices the next day as i payed the bill a technician comes to my door now it sounded like he smashed his face against my steal door he was slaming his fist into my door, turns out he came out to "hard disconnect" told him i had just payed the bill in full he then got snotty with me saying he will be back during the week and that ill be introuble if he is, basically threatening me not even a week later my internet is shut off i call to find out whats going on apperently the technician wrote down i was hard disconnected they did not even look at the bill i had just payed i spent 3 days arguing with reps WHO BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH and they would always say instead of listening to the customer "well youve been disconnected you can pay 150 on next months bill and 40 on the reinstalling of the cable." The wire is currently still connected to my house and the boxes are still here i have half a mind to microwave these things. i am switching internet providers if you are thinking about getting wow! Better not miss a bill.

If I could chose zero stars for their rating I would. I rate them a 0.0! I am a Cable Tech for WOW! and have been for a year now. Without question WOW! will tell you what it is you would like to hear over the phone to get you right here they want you. They understand that the cable world is going downhill due to the vast amount of internet streaming now a days. They will lie, cheat and steal before you know what hit you, in any way shape or form that they can to get an extra buck from their customers. I am currently looking for new employment and am very ashamed at the fact that I gave my time for this company. I am doing this on my wifes account so to not get fired at this point. Let me tell you, when I find a different place of employment, I will tell every horror story. In which I hear every day, including my own when I was a customer. Never again. I hope every one will learn they DO NOT need cable service to enjoy their television shows. Everything is possible on the internet these days. Please for your sake, and the sake of unfortunate future customers. Start getting the word out!!!! NO MORE WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very bad customer service, u call them to resolve an issue one supervisor was yelling to cover a lie,,,they promise u one thing and then u see the charges on ur bill ,,when u call to resolve it they take a part of,,,what about the rest that u promised,,,oh we cant,,,they took money out my auto pay and sent me a bill with a late fee charges,,,then they said we will take 10 dollars late fee off for the inconvenience,,this is not inconvenience this a mistake that u made!!! i was promised a free modem for one year,,,,then they said we cant do it on the modem u have,,,well then why did u promise it on the modem that i have to begin with u know exactly what kind of a modem u gave to me!!,,, what about the 5 dollars protection fee i asked to be cancelled and i still see it,,,well this is to if they come out for none cable issue,,,and who told u i want u to come for none cable issue,,,they didnt take it off!!! try to go on their website and good luck if u can find anywhere to turn off auto pay. i cant wait to end this billing cycle to stop this nightmare very unprofessional.

We left AT&T when they raised the price after having us commit to a 1 year agreement. We had WOW several years ago and decided to return less than 2 weeks ago. Well--here we are 12 days later and I switched back to UVerse. The installers were nice, but did a amateur job. The cable for the TV in the basement is hanging in the middle of the closet. The splitter wasnt fastened to a floor truss it too is hanging from the main cable line. Now for the service. It stinks. The internet speed averaged less than 2 mbs. I was promised 60mbs. I understand WiFi and hard wire arent the same, but 60mbs vs. 0.06mbs isnt even close. I actually measured it several times under 1mbs and I was the only person on the WiFi. Call customer service and waited and waited. WOW stinks and I dont trust Comcast. So AT&T has my business. The service on the WiFi is much faster. My kids are happy they can get their homework done. Adios WOW thanks for wasting 3 of my afternoons.

Terrible and unprofessional company!! They not only charge more for less, but one of their technicians brought a couple of cable boxes to my grandparents house a couple of years ago and just left them there without even installing them! Moreover, I just had another incident with another one of their technicians who trespassed on my property without even knocking on my door first. When I confronted the technician about it, he was very rude and said that he had the right to do so just "as long as the gate is open." Wrong sir. You DID NOT have prior permission to enter my yard. When I called the company to complain, it was like talking to a brick wall. The clueless employee on the phone was also very rude about the situation and claimed that he "didnt have an answer to my question." Great customer service [sarcasm]! Ill be sure to tell everyone that I know to avoid this company like the plague!

Called WOW to obtain information about their Internet and Phone Promotion. Talked with an Indian Customer Service to obtain information. His name was Josh the first time called. He tried to Hi-Pressure me into a $100 Gift Card. Wanted $4.95 for Shipping. I stated "NO", I just wanted information on the Promotion Packages. He kept insisting to push the $100 gift card. Stated again "NO" did not want the Gift Card. He said he had to switch me to another department. Was put on hold for about 5 minutes then I was CUT OFF. Call back and the same person answered the phone but changed his name to Alex. So I hung up again. Dont like high pressure talk. So I hung up. Looks like they dont want or need the Business. Very Poor Customer Service. Will not call them again regardless of their Promotions.

I thought it was great at first. Back in the early 2000s I had nothing but problems so I discontinued service. I heard that theyve improved since then. I originally requested internet and WiFi. I used a Roku and a roof antenna. Everything was honky dory, then I was convinced to upgrade to cable service, DVR, premium channels, games, VOD, had nothing but problems. Tonight, May 10th, 2016, my modem has shutdown 7 times since I got home at 3 pm. Seems to only do it when I use the DVR. Thumbs down, middle finger up. I am canceling everything but what I had (internet). Comcast prices sucked ass but at least they worked. 16 years after my first bad WOW service and nothing has changed.....WOW!
