Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Power goes out at least twice a week for hours at a time. They just dont know how to keep the lights on at peoples houses, if it rains even slightly the power goes out. And when it goes out, they turn off their phone line so you cant get through to them. The most unprofessional "business" that Ive ever seen. Its the worst electric company that Ive ever dealt with. The ONLY reason we have service with them is because there are no other electricity companies in my area. This company is the WORST of the worst, and if you have any other option for power what so ever please do so because having electricity in your home will be few far and between with these people.

Working with the public myself I know the importance of good relations with customers. Ive never been a member of Cumberland Valley RECC and needed to set up an account. When I called the office, I have to say I was very impressed with Lara, the representative I spoke with in the Harlan branch office. She was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond by offering information and walking me through the process of setting up my account. You are definitely an asset to your organization. Thank you Lara.

The people that work there are all rude. They make it very evident that they hate their job and their life. Most of them give that "I am better than you" vibe. I have never seen anywhere like it. I dread when I have to go in there, it is uncomfortable because they are so rude. There is one old woman that was nice to me once, and they are the reason I can have electric so thats why I give them 2 stars.

They allow people to pay their bills with stolen credit card information. Then refuse to revel the persons information who used the card to report to the police
