I am in the process of moving back to Lexington and intend to move some of my belongings via U-Haul and need a temporary location to store these things until I can get into my new house. I called the national number at a bit after 8 am and they took the necessary information and transmitted it to the Lexington location. The local office opened at 9:30 and when I walked in the manager was already reviewing my paperwork. I signed the contract, viewed the empty unit, attached my lock and returned to my present location. Everything went smoothly and the price was very acceptable. At this point I have no experience on the use of this unit.

ETA: Thankfully the company contacted me and my sister and they were able to resolve the issue and my sister will be getting her things out of her storage no issue. Thank you to the customer service Julio for the help. These people are crooks. Some one broke into my sisters storage unit and this place wont show her or the cops the security footage and are refusing to allow her to see what was taken. Yet they some how know what was. They are telling her they will sell her stuff unless she gives them $500, and not the $150 she was to pay to remove her stuff. They are shady and I wouldnt trust any of your things in this place.

Once Again, Storage Mart met my requirements for storage needs. I have used Storage Mart for personal, and for business storage needs. Be it long term or short term, Storage Mart provides outstanding, and professional, service. Customer Service is their priority. Lexington, Kentucky, Rhonda and Jan...you are the BEST! Im sure its in the fine print, but I get charged every month for an additional 12 dollars. They call it the preferred customer discount, but you loose the discount on the 3rd day if they havent received payment. I feel like they get you in on such a great deal then nickel and dime you every month... I like non-corporate companies that can actually work with you - these people suck...

I do not recommend this storage company. I have parked my trailer at the Winchester road location for over three years now and they have constantly raised my rate. They give the reason as "needing to maintain the property" and yet they will offer the exact same storage to a new customer for $30 less. Should be against the law!

The staff at Storage Mart on Winchester Rd. in Lexington have been wonderful since I began renting a unit from them in January. The units are well lit, clean and the doors are easy to manuever. For the location, the staff and the cleanliness, youd be hard-pressed to find a better storage solution in Lexington.

Great experience,! Rondia was extemely friendly and wonderful to work with. She offered to hold the unit for me until I had a chance to check competitors rates. I quickly realized this the storage place for me. I am so relieved to have a safe place for my belongings.

Completely forgot to tell management I had vacated my storage space. They had already checked me off as having done so, so I did not have to pay any fees or another month of rent. In general, really friendly service and the month of free space is a great promo!

"First Month Free" is just a lure, they dont really give you one. And "drive up access" means you can drive up to your door if you have a mini-cooper or smaller.
