Just want to let everybody know that I have rented a unit from this company off of Canton Highway in Marietta Georgia Highway 5 Self Storage. I had severe water damage on my items. I had to throw away half my stuff and my Lord when I cleaned out my unit I had rat poop and everything I owned so over half my items have been destroyed either by water damage or rats. I had said something to the owner and he said well there was supposed to be rat repellent in the units I said excuse me why do you even have rats he said its life......really thats why they should pay for an exterminator so just let everybody know please be careful about renting any units from Canton highway highway 5 storage . I now rent from another unit in Adairsville call Adairsville attic which is a Super V Star facility very clean inside and out no bugs no infestations no water leaks its hard to believe the difference if people want to own a business they need to be responsible and take care of what needs to be taken care of there are some Priceless items and some of these buildings which I have had and now lost so I would not recommend Highway 5 storage unit in Woodstock to anybody and on top of that they try to rip you off on late charges so just be careful when youre shopping for storage units because theyre not a good choice have a blessed day Would not even give them one star but it seems you have to to post...

price is OK. so that is a plus. HOWEVER... manager said that their insurance product is REQUIRED BY LAW which is complete lie. Additionally wanted to photocopy my drivers license which is a risk to my identity. Many ID thefts occur from copies of drivers licenses etc where they are not strictly needed. He could have verified my identity without this but he said that was also REQUIRED so I left. If you doubt, go get some heathcare and tell them not to photocopy. They wont like it but they will not refuse business. This man refused my business because he wanted to photocopy my documentation. NO THANKS. Times have changed, we cannot allow this kind of excessive data collection for simple things. If its not needed for health care its not needed for a storage space. I got the impression hes used to dealing with Ignoramuses. He was polite though I will give him that.

I have had a unit here for three years. Frank the manager is awesome. He goes above and beyond to help. Very secure, very clean. Good rates.

I have stored my things here going on 5 years, rates are reasonable and the staff usually arent around, but its probably for the better.
