Today was my second visit to Goins Automotive and Im a forever customer! My first visit was for an electrical issue on my husbands 1986 Chevy Silverado pickup that had been "fixed" by two other shops at a cost of over $300 total. Goins had it fixed--for real this time--in under an hour for $66! Today I took my 2011 Subaru Forester there because one of those instant oil change places had torqued my drain plug on so tight it would not come off when I went to have my next oil change done. I went to Goins based on my last experience there. Sure enough, that plug was off with 3 minutes, a new one was installed, and my full synthetic oil change was complete. All for a cost that was $40 less than was the instant oil change place charged! Amanda at the front desk is awesome and very knowledgeable as well. Everyone there is so friendly. Its worth the 25 minute drive from my house. No high pressure sales tactics, just straightforward "Heres the issue, heres what we think it will cost ." Fantastic company!

First, I think 5 stars is very rare.... and very hard for a mechanic to achieve. Ive had both of my vehicles to Goins and this shop is much better than most. The buildings arent fancy but everyone has a good attitude, they do good work... so they are competent and courteous. They fixed the HVAC switch in my car after it broke off behind the dash. They saved me a bunch of money by repairing the part instead of ordering a replacement. It works better now than it did OEM. Not many shops would have gone to the trouble of mending a part to save a customer money but they did. Im glad we have a shop like this in Mt. Washington. Give them a try.

Goins Automotive is the best. They will treat you like a friend and work on your car just like it was the one they drive daily. How do I know this? Because I know them personally and know they actually care about their customers and want to help them, not just make a buck off of them. Trust me you will save money and drive away with peace of mind. Take your car there and you will look not further for a shop for your repairs.

Being new to Mount Washington, I was looking for a local shop to work on vehicles. I told the lady I had an F150 and before I could say what the problem was, she interrupted me and said "Im sorry". So my first experience with this person was for her to insult my truck. Im a Ford worker and if thats how she feels about Fords, then they dont need my Ford money Ill be sure and spread the word to my Ford worker buddys.

I have been using Goins Automotive for about 10 years to service my Ford truck, Mercury car and Winnebago diesel pusher rv. Always treated fairly and respectfully by the staff, I wouldnt go anywhere else. They literally go the extra mile in their service. To the new guy in the area that left the lousy rating maybe you should just take your F150 to the dealer and see how that works for you.

Called around and no one could get me in same day. This place was able to get me in sooner than they anticipated and the final cost came in under their original quote. They were upfront and honest. They tried to save me money by reusing the new transmission fluid and gasket I had installed but wasnt able to get to fit exactly. Would recommend these guys to anyone in the area.

I have a 1972 chevy they charged me $470 to change the alternator and distributor cap it takes about 20 minutes to change and around 100 bucks for parts!!!!! The car barely made it home ran worse then it did before I will never go back

This shop has worked on my car twice now, and they were upfront about costs, and even came in under their own quote by about $200 for my air conditioning compressor, and had it complete a day before I expected it! Very pleased.
