Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviewer on here - AVOID THIS PLACE! I was visiting family in the area when my car began gushing oil. Springdale was the closest garage, so I took it there for an estimate. They said I needed to replace the entire oil pump (an internal part), timing belt, and a number of other things. The estimated cost of the repair - $2000! Needless to say, I called a local dealer to compare their prices for the same work, and their mechanic literally LAUGHED when I told him Springdales estimate. It turns out the oil pump didnt need to be replaced at all, but even if it had, the part is only $250 w/ 3 hours of labor (Springdale told me it would be "an entire day" of labor). It is also true that the timing belt might need to be replaced in some instances - if it is covered in oil (luckily it wasnt in this case) - but since it had to be removed to replace the oil pump anyhow, this would entail NO ADDITIONAL LABOR! So assuming the worst, I should have been looking at the $250 for the oil pump, $150 or so for the timing belt, plus 3 hours of labor. I ultimately got the necessary work done for well under $500!!!!

I have been a customer of Springdale Automotive Barbour lane and Prospect store for the past few years now. I wanted to write you an email in regards to the exceptional customer service and overall experience I have had at Springdale. Over the last two years I have had an immense amount of trouble with my 2008 BMW 328i, not only is difficult to find a repair shop that is willing to work on it the expense of these repairs can be very costly. I am grateful for the expertise Springdale has provided in repairing my vehicle in a timely, honest manner. Brian Smith has gone above and beyond to help me with warranty claims, service and mechanical advice during each visit to both of these locations. I know I can trust him to give me a fair and honest quote, he has the knowledge and skills to explain how and why the repair is needed without seeming condescending or annoyed like I’ve had to deal with in the past. People like Brian and your other technicians are what keeps a business thriving. I will continue to use Springdale for all of my future vehicle needs and I have given glowing reviews to everyone I know.

Car repairs are never fun and never cheap; I have found that everywhere I go. At Springdale, Jordan and Brian always explain what is wrong with my vehicle in a way that I understand what my repair options are, and most importantly they treat me with respect. They even remember me when I come back for little things like oil changes. I have been using them since 2012, and will continue to do so. For their customer service and convenient location to Oldham County, I highly recommend them.

I am a single mother with a busy schedule like most people, but I absolutely hate dealing with car repair. It usually is a very stressful situation for me but since Ive started going to Springdale it has been a lot less stressful. Brian & Kenny are very helpful, they take the time to actually explain what I need and why. I LOVE the remodeled lobby by the way BEAUTIFUL !!!

This place is incredibly overpriced and they dont even know what theyre doing. I took my car there to get it looked at 3 different times and they claim nothing is wrong with it yet it wont start. They dont know how to fix cars and they charge way to much. This place is absolutely ridiculous

Lied to me about checking the t-stat in my daughters car, charged me for it though , it left her stranded that very night. I got it home, replaced the thermostat, all was fine. Never again, thanks for the jam you put us in clowns..
