Louisville Water determined that our water line had a severe leak. We reached out to HomeServe USA, which is the insurance carrier that we use via Louisville Water. HomeServe opened a ticket with United Plumbing on 12/23/2016. United Plumbing arrived and determined that we did in fact have a leak, but asked to hold off repair until the following business day given the holiday. They were able to setup a temporary line of service to get us through the holiday and assured us that they would be back first thing on 12/27. They never arrive on the morning of 12/27. When I called to inquire on the timing, I was informed that we were not on the schedule and that the crew should not have told me they would be here on 12/27. The temporary line then froze and we had no water. I called on the morning of 12/28 and they had someone out here that morning. They determined that there were multiple leaks in the water line and that we would need a new line installed. They said that some one would be out the following day to provide estimate and to schedule the repair. We are now in our third week since the claim was initially opened and United plumbing has not contacted us or been back out to our property since 12/28. We have been told everything from plumber is out sick, they are backed up from holidays, its too cold to dig, they have to out source dig; to they dont have the parts. Finally, after daily calls for the past week, we were able to get HomeServe to have a different and reputable plumbing company assigned to the job. This company clearly cannot handle plumbing jobs beyond small faucet leaks.

In March I had a water pipe leak. My insurance, HomeServe, enlisted United Plumbing to replace the bad 70 pipe. They declared it repaired. Two weeks later there was another leak. I called United immediately and they said that I was not their customer, HomeServe was. Several days later, United was back, saying more pipe must be replaced. Several days later they were back to replace this pipe. They promised to come back to level the ditch and plant grass seed from the March dig. I called in May and Kim said they would be out when they could. Never showed. I have called HomeServe twice asking them to get United out to finish their job. Each time they would lie and say they would be out in a few days. They still havent come. My front yard is an unsightly mess, embarrassing. I will never recommend United Plumbing. They have no sense of urgency and will lie to their customers.

A horrible company to deal with....They are a vendor to Home Service (I cant believe they use them....trust me they will get a call about them) who they recommended we use them for a leak outside our home. They had 2 of their plumbers recommend that they dig to replace our leak....owner got involved, said there was no leak (although he never came by to see for himself) and said it was just ground saturation....although it hadnt rained for several days...I called the owner and left 3 messages for him to call me...he never did , thanks Chris??. This went on for 2 weeks...I had to go to street meter every morning and evening to turn off and on our water. Home Service then said to use Dauenhauer Plumbing who recognized right away that we had a leak outside the home and not inside as United had suggested from the start......I would run from United....

I do not recommend anybody United Plumbing, they are so informal, They asked me a lot of money and did not solve my problem, They came to my house in two occasions, asked to diagnostic and at the end I had to take the hose they left stucked inside the septic tank. The receptionist tried to intimidate me with the fact that I did not say anything about the existence of the septic tank. Why I paid for the diagnostic? Where I should know about that from? They wanted to charge extra $700.00 more for taking the hose they left in there. Be careful with them and go ahead to another company. from the deepest part of my heart. Avoy to have another additional problem.

Our home warranty chose this plumbing company. They never called to schedule an appointment so I finally called and set it up. They didnt show during the appointment times given to me and when I called they tried to act like I had never scheduled the appointment at all. They did send the plumber to me next so it wasnt much later than my original appointment time when he finally arrived. The plumber was very nice and was able to fix our issue in about two hours but he left a horrible mess for me to clean up. It was very dirty and there was a waxy substance that took forever to scrub off the floors and other surfaces. Overall the experience was not great...

It is kind of hard to get ahold of the office. Stays busy. Which is a good thing. Any way after talking with ( Kim) at the office. She set me a mm appointment for the next morning to replace my hot water heater. ( Derek ) I thank his name was. Nice older guy got to talking with him and been doing plumbing for 20 yrs. was there on time went to work and replaced the water heater in my basement. Did a great job on it. Also had a shut off vale to be replaced. After getting it approved on the order he laid down in the floor and it replaced in no time. Great job and great service from them both.

Our technician, Bill, was terrific! He was behind schedule and it was obvious he was having to work after normal hours, but he had a positive attitude, sense of humor, was very reassuring, and gave great advice on how to prevent our problem from reoccurring (we have some tree roots trying to grow into our septic line). Ill definitely be calling United Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!

Service tech was very polite and professional. The tech lied down a mat to place the removed toilet. The tech determined the problem and took quick action to repair the flange and installed new flange bolts. Reinstalled the toilet, tested it several times, inspected it in the basement for leaks and cleaned up everything. Very happy with the service and results.

My home warranty sent them to unclog my kitchen sink. While the guys who came were very nice (Ive had them here twice), it took them almost a whole week to call me to set an appointment up this last time. Im glad it wasnt a true emergency or else I would have been out of luck. If I need plumbing again, I might consider asking for someone else if possible.

These folks believe in, " under promise, over deliver ". The tech called to say that he would be earlier than scheduled. Repair was meticulously completed, and no mess ! Can positively recommend United Plumbing for all plumbing issues . Thanks for a pleasant experience!

The response time was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable about what they are doing. I had a horrible experience with a "plumber" so they said and I felt very confident that they knew what they were doing from the moment the walked through my door.
