Hahaha that is all I can do but laugh at how TERRIBLE these people are. First off.... to the person below saying we live in a negative world get a reality check. These people EXPECT to have their packages, mail, etc.. delivered in a timely manner. Let me give a current problem with this location. I purchased an item online to get here for a family christmas party. It was shipped out 11-28-11 and ARRIVED at Capitol Heights 12-03-11. I am okay with that since the item is from across the country. What im NOT OK with is the fact that ITS STILL AT CAPITOL HEIGHTS and todays date is 12-14-11. It has a confirmation # and states it has been sitting there for over 11 days. UNREAL. These people ARE PAID BY OUR TAX MONEY to do a job and this is clearly not doing it. Oh did i mention I have 2 more packages that have been sitting their since 12-6-11. I know things can get backed up BUT THIS is beyond acceptable. Oh and dont bother calling that is a waste of time. Not to mention submitting an email explaining your problem. There is a drop down box where you can select (problem, suggestion, complaint, or compliment). Its funny how the ONLY ones that work are COMPLIMENT AND SUGGESTION. Go figure you cant send an email for a complaint or problem. Now i dont have my item to give to my family for the christmas party. And mind you I have family flying in from different states. What a waste. And its not like I can use USPS to ship it out to them once it arrives to me. If that happens I might as well hold onto the gift until next year and give it to them then because im sure that would work better and faster. I know I am frustrated but there is no valid reason for it being like this. You would think the manager of this site would take pride in running a smooth business. Meanwhile there is plenty of UNEMPLOYED canidates who can easily do a better job and work ten times harder.

I sent a time sensitive envelope to the HEAD SOCIAL SECURITY DEPT in Baltimore,Maryland which has $ 50 Insurance and was paid for a 2 day delivery service just over here in Calhoun,Ga. The tracking site states its been shipped out of Capitol Heights, Maryland at 6:31 AM on Dec 11th,2014, yet its now Dec 13th,2014 and the tracking site STILL says it was shipped out at 6:31 AM on 12/11/14 !!!! The destination is ONLY 47 minutes up the road. 36 MILES !!! I had to cash a retirement fund to fix our truck that was about to become totally broke down, my wife and I both are on disability with 2 children with ADHD issues and we were just forced illegally against our will basically, to have to move into a new home for the 3rd time in 3 years and this just sickens me to death. Those papers were time sensitive and wouldve been there ON-TIME with the 2 day Priority mail I paid for also with delivery signature confirmation so I new exactly when the HEAD OF SOCIAL SECURITY for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA got my envelope package of time-sensitive material so I dont lose my Disability Income. Ive read the 14 or more reviews on this specific post office and it just disgusts me. I however, have a pre-paid law firm at my beck and call, so if they dont get with the program on Monday morning, 12/15/2014, there are going to be severe legal repercussions against them if possible, and it will be for both my family, as well as all of you that posted against these people who have screwed you all over. I have kept my family above water for over 10 years now with and wqithout legal help, mostly without legal help, but with with GODS help and lots of research, footwork and letters quoting laws. SWe have rights and Im the type who gets them enforced at all costs. That is all and good day and GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I stayed home waiting for a package and i only knew someone was at the front door because the dogs barked. I quickly ran downstairs and found two packages at the front door. Neither of which were the package was waiting for because the package i was expecting required a signature. So i went around to see if i could catch the mail man and she was no where in sight. She must have run off after setting those packages down because i live in a subdivision. I opened the mail box and found the note that said "sorry we missed you." You missed me because you couldnt wait for two seconds at the door. In fact, you didnt even ring the doorbell. Ridiculous! I bet they dropped that note in the mailbox before they even came to the door. I immediately called the Post Office and told them what had happened and the lady of the phone asked "do you even live in Capitol Heights?" Seriously! No, i just like calling up Post Offices at random for the fun of it because it is such a joy to speak with someone who speaks to you as if you are inconveniencing them for asking them to do their jobs. How about you call up that Post Office worker and make sure they come back and deliver the package appropriately instead of condoning poor performance by reciting antiquated bureaucratic practices where the only way to retrieve the package now is by inconveniencing the customer who has to go out of their way to pick up the package the next day.

They dont even deserve a one star rating, this post office is a nightmare! They are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I am not one to complain, I usually am very understanding since I have always worked retail I know how difficult customers can be. Well when they finally decided to answer the phone the lady immediately had an attitude, didnt let me finish my sentence and just said "hold on" and left me to wait for several minutes, for what? I dont know. She came back on the line and in a rude tone asked how she could help. I told her my problem and she just responded with "hold on". Came back on the line and just argued the whole time. I had to raise my voice and ask if I could just speak, then again asked me to "hold on". Finally the manager was on the line and she was nice at first, then when I didnt agree with what she said also got an attitude. Basically we got into an argument no one seemed to care, and nothing was solved. These workers should be fired. I am amazed with how many terrible reviews this place has and Im assuming nothing is being done. This place is awful, seriously, this was the worst customer service experience ever!

I was supposed to have a package delivered and when I tracked the package it said that they attempted to deliver the package at 930am but the buiness was closed, when actually the business was open since 8 am, and in fact they (USPS) never atempted to deliver the package at all. I went to the post office and spoke with a supervisor and she she pretty much told me it was my problem and that shell have the carrier attempt to actually deliver it but if she doesnt id just have to wait till Monday. Then when I tracked the package the second time it said that she actually delivered at 301pm the same day but by then the business had already been closed for an hour at 2pm. So as of today I have no idea where my package is and the supervisor is telling me that there is no recourse. I cant get in contact with anybody at the post office by phone because the number is either wrong or always busy. The worst service ever. So I will stick to giving Fedex and UPS my business, way to go US Postal Service.
