This is a great post office if you like waiting in long lines for long periods of time, want to be harassed on your way in and out by a teen selling things outside, dont want packages delivered, and want your mail to be damaged by the delivery person. Quite often the line for service is to the front door. There is usually one person behind the counter, and it has to be the slowest person in the building. The line actually starts to move a little when someone competent comes out from hiding in the back and will help two or three people for every one handled by the other. What to have something shipped to you? Dont bother-have it shipped to your work if you can. This location will not deliver packages, and will not leave a delivery attempt notification. They will claim to have attempted delivery, but when someone has been home all day and theres no knock on the door all day-then someones not telling the truth. If there if a tracking method on your package you can go online to find out that its at the post office waiting to be picked up, that they claim to have left notification, and that its been there for a couple of days. Now you get to go wait in line. When you finally get to the counter to make your pick-up make sure you check your package(s). Dont be surprised to find a package thats not yours given to you. Scheduling a re-delivery online or by phone is not an option, since they will just not deliver it again. Like receiving mail undamaged? Not going to happen. Quite regularly your mail will be crumpled and or smashed into your mailbox. It would take much less time and effort, but would require the use of two hands, to simply curl or roll the mail and slide it into a mailbox-instead of cramming it in. I know mail handling/delivery can be a tough job. When you make very little effort to do it right, and you are to busy talking on your cell phone to pay attention to what you are doing, then you cant do a good job. You can not properly drive a US Mail vehicle or properly handle/deliver mail when one hand has a cell phone in it and you are not paying much attention to what you are doing with the other hand. I start by saying, maybe just maybe I contribute to what happened just a little bit by being in a rush and expecting that these people would actually do their job instead of get some type of kick out of ruining my day. That being said I shall proceed to tell yall about the most unprofessional experience EVER in a post office! So after experiencing a difficult morning...my three year old had the runs (too much info) soiling himself several times and the bedding, having bouts of throwing up along with fever. Also my 6 months old keeping me up all night with a fever and diarrhea as well, I managed to get an appointment at 2:30 p.m 3/27/2017 with their pediatrician which is located nearby this hellish post office. Being a stay at home mom/entrepreneur, I had some ordered that needed to be sent out, so I thought I could stop in this Post Office from Hell real quick. With My sick 3 year old left in the car along with my 7, 5, and 6 month old, I ran inside to ship out my orders. As Im standing in line I couldnt help but notice old girl digging in her dirty weave...patting her head to scratch the itch out, helping this poor old man send a package the most expensive way. (I know thats their job but I cannot stand to see people being taken advantage of because of their lack of knowledge.) So Im next in line and got Ms. Dirty Weavehead, she start the transaction reading asking is anything liquid, fragile, or hazardous, etc. Then she started to read the various ways of sending. I interrupt her stating the way I wanted to send my packages, but she continued reading! I told her....I said listen lady you dont have to read all that to me. "She responds Do You Want Me To Lose My Job?!"

I would absolutely concur with the last writer on that this post office is terrible for dealing with packages!!!! Ive lived at this address for four years now and I have had multiple packages that are sent to me that may take over a month for me to get them. One package this year my Mom sent to me before Easter and I still have never received it. I dont really go this post office alot because Im not mailing many things to others but I have noticed the long lines as well as the short attitudes of alot of the employees there. Some are friendly though. Instead of leaving a package with my rental office they leave me a card and when I go to pick it up at the post office (because they for whatever reason cannot simply drop if at my rental office which is much more convenient for both parties and saves them the hassle of coming to redeliver) IT IS NOT THERE!!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!!! My Mom sends packages to my little Sister in Florida and to my Brother in Utah they get them in 3-4 day TOPS!!!!! I am utterly dissatisfied with this place. Some people should definitely be fired. They need to hire some Competent responsible people to work here. This job is a serious responsibility dealing with other peoples things and apparently most of the people who work here do not care. AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!

CONSTANT package delivery problems: not bothering to drop off packages and leaving notices while Ive been home all day, sometimes returning packages to the office without even bothering to leave a notice at all, returning packages to Amazon for "incomplete addresses" (after countless successful deliveries from Amazon with the same exact address), and the list goes on. Service isnt much better, from giving me a hard time to get the packages that they send back to their office, telling me the supervisor is busy when I ask to speak to someone about constant delivery problems (takes down my number, no call back), screaming "WERE CLOSED FOR LUNCH" at me as soon as I walk in the door, when calling about said problem packages interrupting my husband mid-sentence "I cant talk to you about this right now, call back tomorrow." This place is absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of time.

I have a community mailbox. Which mean the boxes are not that large. Why do the mail person jam boxes and large packages in it? To get it out we have to rip or tear the package. It just happened two days in a row with Christmas items I purchase. Its not like he has to go out of his way to deliver. Im right up the street and he pass my house when hes finished jamming it in the mailbox. I think for the rest of my deliveries for the holiday, I will pay extra to have it delivered by UPS or FEDEX. I stopped using this post office a long time ago because of the rude and nasty customer service. Do all my postal business at Goin Postal on Lord Baltimore Dr. Very pleasant people Well my husband just came from the mailbox pissed off. Another box was jammed in the mailbox and he had to cut the box open to get it out. O I wish I could get everything delivered by UPS or FedEx
