The worst post office I have been in my entire life. I was there on 12/07/2016 that Korean/Chinese, Japanese woman was not helpful at all. I arrived with a package to send international with postage on it. She refused to accept it cause my postage had tape over it. I ended up loosing almost $60 worth of postage. I have used Gaithersburg post office to send international mail and they accepted the way I placed the postage (this female has the guts to tell me to go to Gaithersburg post office at 4:45pm). As for the black dude, please if you hate your job that much please quit, you aint doing any of us a favor by being grumpy behind that counter, we have many other people looking for jobs. This post office needs some customer service instilled in them. Just to let you know I will never use this post office again, am over and done with it. Also stop being lazy especially when dropping off packages at the Elms, knock on doors before you take packages to the rental office, some of us get home after the rental office is closed, and some of us have family in the apartments during the day, so take a chance and knock to see if someone is there before taking your lazy selves to the rental office to drop off packages. So sick of this Clarksburg post office, something needs to be done.....When people complain this much, do something about it, who runs this post office.....

This post office is just awful. I came with my kid to have her passport applications submitted and the african-american man that helped me was just terrible. Not only was he extremly rude and unfriendly, but actually ordered me to sit down on the seat without explaining to me their prcoess. I actually got into argument with him because the way he looks and his attitude was just horrible. I talked to the manager about this, sheexplained the process to me and seems resonable. The most shocking thing is that he complained about the way I look at him and my attitude to his manager front of other customers so he refuses to do passport for me. The manager suggests me to come back afternoon to another agent for the passport but I end up walking out there without getting the passport because i dont trust the man who can do the job right. I have never had such a frustrating experience. Not only was this man incredibly rude, but he was horrible at explaining things, which made the matter even worse. Do not come here. period. No wonder USPS business is going south for the past few years. with this kind of employee working there, I can only see why.

Terrible post -office. Packages are delivered to wrong addresses, due to temporary delivery people. Also the East-asian lady who manages the place is really rude. She talks to customers as if they are children and talks in a loud condescending voice. She has no respect for the customers. She is a terrible post-master. It seems like she is always tired and overworked, she needs to be replaced with someone who can manage the stress of running a post-office. Or she needs more help, there needs to more people employed at this post-office with the every growing demands of the local area. If there are more people employed, maybe she can focus on managing and less on spending time at the counter. She is clearly not suitable to be interacting with customers at the counter and need a refresher course in customer service. Something needs to fixed here!! I agree with another reviewer, they need to have automatic postage kiosks, so that people dont have to deal with the rude manager at the counter. Also automatic kiosks may lighten there load which may help with there rude behavior!!

This place is awful and that is saying a lot. It is the epitome of government inefficiency and apathy. The employees simply dont care. The post master must be asleep in a pile of mail as the word "management" might as well be latin here. The grounds are unkept, the shelves are empty, never any boxes, its under lit, there is never and I mean never more than one person at the counter, they dont smile, are short and rude tempered. When there is a line to the door, and this happens often there is no sense of urgency...at all..they need to close this branch, its clear the budget is hurting and its bleeding money, gee I wonder why. The post master is simply trying to keep it alive till she can hit that Federal pension. Germantown is close and much better as is Boyds or Mt. Airy if you are out that way. To post master: "girl friend, go take a community college business course, a job means more than simply cashing the check". My 2 cents.

If I never set foot in this place again it will still be too soon. This is what I envision hell being like. Waited over an hour and a half for a passport because they dont accept appointments and will always take retail customers before walk ins, which means every time the line dwindled down and it looked like wed be taken, another person walked in just before we were called and they got priority. This went on for AN HOUR AND A HALF. The worst part was that the agent kept saying "sorry to keep you waiting so long" to the people who had only been standing in line for less than two minutes. The male agent was incredibly rude and surly, and looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Neither agent said a word to me about how long Id been kept waiting. I left work early for this garbage. This place is a joke.

This post office is just awful. I came with my 2 kids to have their passport applications submitted and the woman that helped me, Neena, was just terrible. Not only was she rude and unfriendly, but when she was taking the picture of my 4 year old daughter who kept looking at me versus the camera Neena said to her "dont you want to go with your Mommy? You cant go if you dont look here". What an awful thing to say to a child. My husband and I had question pertaining to our application and she said to us (with a hand raised) "Im very tired, I need to finish this, then you can talk to me". I have never had such a frustrating experience. Not only was this woman incredibly rude, but she was horrible at explaining things, which made the matter even worse. Do not come here.

Laziest post office ever. The mailman doesnt even ring the doorbell when there is a parcel to deliver. Idiot just leaves a notice and then customers have to waste time going to the post office during business hours. Heck I even went on site and they didnt have the package. Seriously, WTF? No wonder people prefer UPS or FedEx. Asian manager is extremely rude and barely speaks proper English. Black guy who works here is horrible and rude. He openly acts like he hates his job. Indian lady is decent, but even then not like one person can solve the craziness at this USPS location. Rather deal with a kiosk that actually does something.

I went to the post office to apply for a passport with my daughter. We were told at the Damascus post office that we needee and appointment for the passport there, but we could go to Clarksburg as a walk in andbthey would take care of us. When we got there, the sign said for for passports you need to be there before 5:30. Rashaad helped us despite the time and was very proffesional and curtious. His co- workers on the other hand were not very nice and gave him a hard time just because he helped us after the designated hours. I felt as though I was bothering the staff, except for Raahaad...he was very helpful. Thanks Rashaad
