I never have a good experience here and thus always dread going. Ill pay more at fed ex store down street to avoid. Staff are never friendly. If I could rate ZERO STARS I would. Tends to be unfriendly women behind counter who give you feeling theyd rather be cleaning toilets than there doing their job. They rarely speak, and look at you like youre stupid if you ask a question. It would be preferred that our tax dollars paid for people who provide pleasant customer service. Get them some training - send them to amazons school or Disneys school of customer service.

I had a very bad experience @ the post office today/ I purchase a money order for $400 dollars. I wanted to receive $50 back in cash and theserver told me rudely next time go to the bank. I thought that was very ruled how she talk to me as a customer. I normally go to this location every two weeks @ the mclean on e on elm street. My business means nothing to them. they disrespected me very badly as a customer. Customer Service should be #nm 1 in all businesses. thank you Regina Thomas

Unfortunately, several of the people who staff this post office fail to appreciate that this place is a business and not a visitor center for the McLean community. On innumerable occasions, I have had to wait 20 to 30 minutes while the staff have a nice chit chat with the locals. This must stop, so that people using the facility can get on with their postal business. Im sure they are trying to be polite, but this politeness has an adverse impact on others in line....

They lost my 2 bank accounts and I had to replace checks for both accounts. The check to my Visa and to the telephone company were "lost." Had to put stop payments on both check. This is all expensive and time consuming. The "supervisor" said there is nothing they can do about it. The staff is sullen, uncooperative and half the time unintelligible. Hope the PO goes under. That is the problem when staff cannot be fired and the unions hold sway.

Delivery of packages is horrible. They received my good at their location at 12, I paid for the shipping of the product to get it in two days, didnt get it. I am leaving for college again tomorrow, Sunday, so I will not be able to receive this good. This upsets me because I stood by usps saying that they arent that bad but they are really slacking with the delivery times now.

In our 16 years living in this zipcode I have found the people at this postal facility both friendly and hardworking. Okay, so there are often lines and the usual failures of a massive physical handling system occur, but compared to other post offices we have experience with (like the one in Florida where we have a residence) I think this one is well above the norm.

good luck if you have to ask a question. english language is not the first language spoken her. the postmaster does not know basic mailing requirements. the girls that work the front counters are helpful but the overall intelligence level of the postal service in general is hovering around plant life.

The staff is friendly, but Ive had problems since moving to Mclean. Mail not delivered, mail lying in my drive, mail being delivered to the wrong place...more issues than Ive ever had with a US Post Office before. They are responsive about fixing it when I bring it to their attention.

As citizens, we all should support USPS, and use it as the first choice of our shipping needs. Unfounded criticism hurts USPS. No one is perfect USPS definitely can get better but belittling is not appropriate and a sign of childish attitude.

This facility has a staff and management team whose competence and perception of customer service can only rivaled by the DC DMV! Recommend using this post office if you dont have a drop box within 50 miles of your residence.

Tried to use self service machine, but it wasnt working. The hours posted are only for PO boxes and this machine, which doesnt work. The normal desk keeps shorter hours than I do.
