Jittender will work you over. DONT GO HERE for a passport! Please be very clear that I started my passport process at the end of February for a June 15 travel date. I called and got an APril 21, 2015 appt for 2 p.m. I showed up at 1:45 and was told I had to wait as I watched Jittender joke and laugh with colleagues. By 2:20 p.m. he opened the door and told me that as a union employee he is required to take an hour lunch which is why I had to wait. My husband and children were also flabergasted by this ridiculous statement. He then filled out our paperwork for my son incorrectly. On May 20th, we were notified that my 16 year olds son needed a new application. (No one could tell us why but from what we can tell we were told to sign for our son and he has to sign for himself being that he is 16 - Jittender told us to do this since all applications must be signed in front of an approved application agency.) When we were notified of his error he said "go pay the expedited fee because I have never seen a letter like this.!" That is not what the letter said to do. It told us to go back to Jittender at Oak Hill and fill out another app and he was suppose to send it first class with a tracking number to make sure it reached the existing documentation that was already in the passport office ( my sons expired passport) . This is all according to the passport supervisor that I spoke with. Jittender took no responsibility for any of his actions and it disgusts me that his attitude was too bad for you even though he made the mistake! Not only did he screw up the first application but also the second. I now have to pay $85 and drive up to Philadelphia to expedite a passport for my son. All because an entitled Postal Service Employee doesnt get held accountable for doing their work. I completely understand why the Postal Service needs to be gone, the Jittenders are putting them out of business.

A true band of morons working here. From the Indian lady who could care less about helping you to the ridiculous postal carriers who cant even deliver a package right. This place should be shut down for incompetence! Had a tracking number and they still couldnt find the item I sent to a customer which ended up costing me over $100 because I was never told offered insurance. The USPS makes its profit from stamps, and sends. .. well Ill be using FedEx or UPS from now on to avoid idiot mistakes from these people.

They cant seem to figure out how to forward mail. It took almost 2 months and corporate office for me to get my mail forwarding and to get my old mail out of limbo. Now again, Im driving with expired license plates because they didnt forward them over a month ago. What if it were foreign documents or time sensitive material, what then? If youre going to change your address and this Oak Hill location delivers your mail, fill out your forms 1-2 months before or youll never get your mail.

One of the nicest USPS post offices that I have ever visited. The staff is always helpful. E.g., a couple of times when I visited, the queue was very long; one of the staff would come out from the back and ask around the line if customers could be served much quicker using the kiosks or if they had a question that he could answer. I always feel that the staff genuinely tries to speed up the processing time at the PO.

Attempted to call several times to make an appointment for a passport, however the listed phone number for this office doesnt work. When I showed up at the office I was told I needed an appointment in order to meet with them. When I explained that I attempted to call several times I was told they were too busy for me and that I could be seen in three weeks at the soonest.

As some of my fellow reviewers have stated, they seem in capable of being nice to anybody. Im sure they have tough days working in customer service, it doesnt mean they can be short and snippy with every customer that gives them a phone call.

50% of the time I come here during off hours for the automated kiosk. Its quiet, clean, and empty. The other half of the time I come to the counter and the staff are quick and efficient. No complaints.
