Well, I cant speak for the storage service coz I only rented Budget truck there. I was moving during the thanksgiving holiday and made reservation with Budget a month ahead. Checked my local budget stations online (close to 20904 zip), and the reviews were horrifying. I ended up with a reservation at a local place without any reviews (no news is good news hah), but the dude there was rude answering my inquiries if there would be trucks available during weekends. I got concerned and called Budget 800 number and then the regional distribution manager called me and telling me there would be two places closer to me that would definitely having trucks on weekends, this location being one. I called this place, David answered the phone and confirmed that there would be larger truck available and even suggested me making reservation online for cheaper rates. Because of this conversation, I decided to rent from here. Got a fairly new truck with only 6500 miles also, and pick-up/inspection/off hour drop off all went without problem, and noticed the charge on my credit card the other day and it was correct.

This place recently took a turn for the worst. I began renting from them approximately eight months ago and they seemed willing to work with the customer and showed some sense of security pertaining to facility access. During the past couple of months however they have become incredibly mismanaged and overpriced. The security gate is consistently open and I was in constant fear that my locker would be burglarized. In addition to that I inquired in renting a larger unit and the price was outrageous. Route 1 and Easy Storage are exceptionally priced and I have used them in the past but due to location I tried Fort Knox. I am switching back and hope no one ever rents a unit from the Fort Knox with the current management in place. Again, never rent from this unprofessional storage facility.

I paid the bill and was twice not credited until after the penalty period started and was charged an 19% fee, which is outrageous. When I went to contest the charges their record keeping was so bad that they could not tell me why I was charged, and was told that if I wanted to access my locker that I would have to pay or else no access. I had prepaid two months and checked out at the end of the first month. I went to the office and they ASSURED me that the refund would be issued no later that the 15th of the month. It is now 33 days later and I have called twice with not resolution. If you have storage needs, I would recommend you go someplace else.

Not only was the customer interaction horrible, but I was also charged triple!!! I did a night drop with truck, receipt, and keys. My bill showed up with triple the charge on it. When I confronted the sales person on the billing issue (it took four days to get them on the phone) the individual said it was my fault because the truck keys were not returned until many days later. This was not true, but I guess this store has no problem making up lies so they can justify stealing from customers. I WAS a long term budget rental customer, but not anymore. If you don’t like people stealing money from you, don’t use this store.

I have used Fort KIox Self Storage for storage and truck rental. All of my contact with personnel from the facility has been extremely professional and courtious. Both David, the property manager, and his assistant, Tonya, go above and beyond to make your experience smooth. I have been military for nearly 20 years and have had to move several times, utilizing many storage facilities ands truck rentals. Fort Knox Self Storage, by far, has been my best experience! Many thank yous to David and his entire staff!

We had a great experience with fort Knox storage. We rented a 20 x 10 unit and got the best price in town. Plus the unit had two big doors, making our stuff easily accessible. The owner/operators were excellent, always available when needed. The unit was clean and felt safe. We only needed the unit for four months, but would definitely use them again. Plus they have online options for monthly payments that makes it super easy.

I have been renting 2 storage units from Fort Knox Self Storage for over a year now. Donna and Davids service and care of the business and its customers has been some of the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Fort Knox Self Storage. Their units are clean, their costs are reasonable, and their atmosphere is one of friendly, supportive service everyday.

Rented a u-haul from this location, and the service was wonderful. They were extremely helpful in helping select a truck that suited my needs, and the availability of the vehicles has been great!
