I dont understand how they can tell me that they attempted to deliver a package at 7:52, when Im sitting at my front door waiting from 7:30 until 8:30... They also claim to have left a slip, but theres no slip. This same sort of thing has happened at least four times in the past year. I usually end up getting the package, but sometimes it takes several days for them to find it... I wish I could tell Amazon to ONLY ship using other carriers. The only thing the post office reliably delivers to me every day is a mountain of junk mail that I dont want.

This place and all its workers are absolute jokes. I go in for a key request on a Saturday. Key will be ready Tuesday, on Tuesday I go in, key will be ready Wednesday. On Wednesday, key will be ready Saturday and no, you cant talk to the postmaster because hes not here even though you just heard me go back in his office and talk to him. On Saturday, yeah the key will be ready today but not until after we close, come back Monday. Pathetic service and the "could care less" attitude youve come to expect from one of the biggest drains of taxpayers money.

The Crofton post office is one of the most efficient post offices in the area, certainly much better than a couple of the DC post offices I have dealt with over the years. Postal clerks and carriers know their jobs and do them well. I do miss Eric, though. BTW, in response to the other rater, USPS workers are NOT hired or paid by tax dollars. The USPS is funded by its own revenues.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received, the people that work here are very rude. Not only that, our mailman shoves our mail and bends it into our box and its not even full, he also throws packages at our front door, not to worry, I have you on camera doing it and Im documenting everything.

The front desk staff has always been friendly/professional. My mail carrier is a nightmare. I get a monthly package and s/he routinely does not leave the re-delivery authorization letter, when I write my own the letter is ignored, then I have to call the post office in order to get the package delivered.

HORRIBLE Customer service!!! I have never experienced such rudeness before! They are extremely rude in person and over the phone! Glad to know that my tax dollars going to hire rude people for GOVERNMENT jobs!!! THEY GET ME VERY FRUSTRATED WHEN I DEAL WITH THEM! Avoid at all cost! 123

An excellent example of why the USPS cant stay in business. Customer service was terrible. The staff is rude and attempts to belittle customers. I even switched attendants thinking the other had to be better, but the second ended up being worse.

Never seen a more cheerful or friendly staff at a post office. They manage the lines pretty well, too, letting people who are just dropping off or picking up move ahead to a separate express line.
