I have nothing but high praise for Andy and the others at Crownsville auto. I just moved to the Crownsville area and after asking around, Andy (Crownsville Auto) was recommended. I took my Scion in for a check up and new brakes. Something was a little off though after about a month I noticed some rubbing in the front right brake. Took it in to Andy again to check out. A pin in the caliber had been stuck for some reason. Andy fixed it, reground the rotors, put new brakes on-- all free of charge. Now I know why he comes so highly recommended. He stands by his work, and charges fairly and honestly up front. Hopefully I will have as much luck with mechanics everywhere I go, but while I am in the Crownsville area, I will not be taking my car to anybody but Andy.

They replaced the timing belt, water pump and all that on my Toyota Tacoma for a fair price. I asked the owner about the warranty on the work and he said all the work is guaranteed for a year (the industry standard), but then he added something like, "We will take care of it longer than that, were not going anywhere." I think he has lasted this long because he is honest, does good work, and stands behind it. I will go there again if I need something. The work was done a few months ago and I have not had any problems with it.

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Crownsville Automotive since I moved to the area in 2006. My husband and I have been very pleased with the quality of the work as well as the fair pricing. If you want an engineer to look after your car with integrity, Andys the man. Been looking after my car for several years. Is always thorough, does not skimp on the regular service and looks for the most cost effective way for any repairs that are necessary. An auto shop you can trust is rare and an engineer that knows what he is doing is even rarer. We are lucky to have these guys in our area.

While I never have had them do any work, their gas is usually cheaper than others in the area and they have free air for from a proper air hose. Not the wimpy little on demand air compressors found at most places.
