My goodness, where do I even start? There must be some sort of "dont ask, dont tell" among mechanics, because if they believe a car can not be fixed, they sure wont tell you if they think they can get as much money as they can out of you. After wasting over 700 dollars at Midas down the street from this place, I decided to try to switch shops and brought my 2002 Spectra to Precision Tune Auto Care.They ALSO charged me a arm and a leg, over 700 dollars for work and parts, only for me to get in the car and still have the same issue. My car literally died trying to drive it off of their parking lot and none of them could even help me. I went back in the store for nothing, as the man behind the counter was pretty much saying there was nothing he could do. I guess he got my money, I can get out of his face now. I had already used my tows with AAA for the year, and these guys were completely done with me after getting payment so I was on my own. I got the car started but it turned off once you had to sit idle or at a light, so I ended up taking all the back ways home to avoid street lights. By grace and luck I managed to get the car all the way to the house where it died for good. Ive got a new car now, I wont be taking it to either of these money grubbing shops.

This place is a rip off i waited a week for an appointment after I tried to do a walk in. Then when I finally take my car the call me 30 minutes late asking how to put the key in the ignition they couldnt get it to start. So after about one hour I went to the shop and my ignition was completely destroyed. After I spoke with the mechanics they let me know that Chad the Manager had been the one working on my car. They spring and plastic were all torn out of the ignition as if someone had put a screw inside. He told me the owner would call me but he never got in contact. Then they call me back asking to bring the key back so they could put a battery in it. However the ignition charges the battery. I asked them were the going to get me car towed and fixed they said they would order the part and fix it. I told them no especially since they could perform a normal oil change. Now I have to get a rental car paid out of my own pocket and figure out how Im going to do all of this after I get off of work and still having to get my 4 children. THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARE A RIP OFF.

I went to get the bearings replaced on the right front wheel. I left Firestone and went straight home; about 20 minutes away. I never turned the car of while I waited for gf who dropped her car off. I figured Id do the driving since it just got repaired and she always drives. I headed to the Walmart in Alexandria, VA. When I came out the store the car wouldnt start. It made clicking noises as I turned the key which made me think it was the alternator. I never had a problem with my alternator and my car always started right up even if I left it parked for a week or more. I called Firestone and the lady tells me that the alternator wasnt touched while the car was repaired. Who really knows what happened but I find it highly suspect. I didnt give it one star because I cant prove they caused the problem; could be an incredible coincidence. Also, the guy at the front counter (Lee) represented himself well and did not sound like an ignorant, ebonic speaking ghetto dweller like you find in almost all auto repair shops in PG county. Im Black so save it. Thank you.

They do good work in the back but you might not make it pass the front desk poor customer service If you looking for a good shop with good customer service then this is not the shop you want to consider. I came in with a groupon and knew something else had to be done to my car but after sitting and waiting in their lobby for 35-40 mins after they was already pulled my car out I asked the guy at the front what was going on he had an attitude and told me I had to wait so I waited 20 more mins and asked the tech what was going on with the car and he said it was done, what repairs i would need to get the car running better and that the paperwork was already up front. Went back to the front to be told that it would take hours for the repair which I already knew and was going to leave it but long story short the customer was the worst nothing on the guys in the back they always do a good job but the caucasian guy at the desk i think his name is Brad needs to be taught how to talk to the customers needless to say I wont be back...

DONT GO. I took my car in for a tune up and brakes. Almost broke down on the way home. According to my neighbor I never got a tune up, and they left some wire in a place where it melted. I will never ever take my car there again.
