AVOID THIS PLACE!! They are dishonest, do NOT do good work, and take advantage of people. I went to this Midas because of the cheap oil change ($25). However, I quickly found out that it’s not a reputable place to go, even for a standard oil change. I drove no more than 1 mile after the oil change, parked my car, and discovered a significant pool of oil leaking from my car. I took my car back to the same Midas location the next day to ask them to stop the leak. To give you an indication of the amount of oil that leaked, the oil level had dropped 1/3 below the minimum level on the dipstick over the course of 12 hours; therefore, in one sense, I was really lucky to have caught the oil leak before my engine was damaged. However, it turned out that there was a crack around the drain plug on the oil pan. The folks at Midas made up a convoluted story about how I ran over something to cause the crack around the drain plug and adamantly claimed that it was not their fault. In actuality, as a Honda dealership and another independent mechanic indicated, the drain plug was over-tightened (i.e., not by me), causing the oil pan to crack. Even though it was clear that Midas caused the cracked oil pan, they did not rectify the problem that they created. So, in exchange for the $25 oil change, I now have to pay $500 to repair the damage that Midas caused, and I have spent numerous hours of effort diagnosing the problem, getting second opinions, talking to Midas, and getting my car repaired. On a slightly unrelated noted, the mechanics there aren’t the most knowledgeable about cars because the mechanic who changed the oil for my car questioned who made Acura’s and what Nissan makes. Prior to going to Midas, I should have checked out the (dissatisfied) reviews elsewhere (e.g., insiderpages, yellowbot, local.yahoo). Save your money and time, and GO ELSEWHERE!

I went to this location recently, and while one of the mechanics (who will remain nameless here) was able to correctly identify the problem with my car, he did not properly communicate to either myself or the manager that only one bearing needed to be replaced. I guess he assumed both of them were bad. The manager then gave me and estimate of just under $700 to get both bearings replaced. They told me it would take a "couple of days". I left and went to a lesser named shop 1/2 mile down the road and the mechanic was excellent. Told me that only one bearing was bad and replaced it in 40 minutes right there on the spot for $200. Needless to say, while I cannot reliably and faithfully comment on the quality of their work because I didnt get work done here, you can rest assured that you will almost certainly be overcharged for whatever they do at Midas. I will not be back to this Midas location for any reason. Better, more professional and more knowledgeable mechanics in my area for better prices and faster turn around times, period.

Stay away from this place. There is a african american guy mechanic who is drunk all the time and will treat you like nasty way. One time I went there for something little repair that will cost them maybe $80 with labor and part. This nasty uneducated "mechanic" told me that he needs to check it first which will cost me a $100 for estimate then he can fix it. I told him this is not a right business you dealing with me and he told me with his stinky alcholoic breath well this is my business and this is how I do my business. You dont like it go to another repair shop. Im very disappointed and Im not recommending this place to anyone

Went for new tires and an oil change. They did a great job and didnt try to upsell me. The manager, Larry, was very friendly and helped me plan out getting new brakes and rotors. They saved me about $400 off from what the dealer wanted to charge. Monroe down the street was cheaper, but they have lied to me in the past and I dont trust them any more, Monroe also failed to put my brakes back together correctly. Mida has helped me in the past with my battery troubles and gave me a free diagnostic. Overall I have been very pleased with Midas.

They will tell you anything to get you to spend more money.please do your research before going to a mechanic.

Ask for Kenny with the red hair. They have always been fair and reasonably priced for maintenance. I have a 98 Camry.
