After getting work done at this location before, I went back again for a diagnostic and an oil change. 2.5 hours later Im paying and they tell me I only need new spark plugs and both oxygen sensors replaced. Im pretty damn happy after hearing that considering the Meineke down the street said Id need O2 sensors, injectors and a new catalytic converter.... None of which I could bring to them (because they wanted to over charge me for a cat and injectors). Flash forward to about 3 weeks later. I get my O2 sensors in the mail and plan on buying the plugs at Pepboys since their site says they have them in stock. I get there, they check my info and tell me theyre about to take my car in now. After about an hour of waiting Im told they only have 2 of the plugs I wanted in stock.... Ok, fine. So I pick another one. A bit later they find the plugs I wanted in the first place... Good, right? Unfortunately, after 2 hours of waiting Im now told I need new plug wires and a new coil.... Neither of which they said when I had my diagnostic previously. So OF COURSE they dont have it in stock. So I had to ask, "Did the guy at least install my O2 sensors?" Not an odd thing to ask, being that I waited long enough to install 2 simple sensors. Ha, of course not! The reason I was told is the guy "didnt want me to come in multiple times and wanted to do it all at once. ..... Really? REALLY? Did I NOT just make a appointment and leave work early to have work done? Im here NOW and would have to come back anyway to bring the other parts regardless. 2 hours wasted, NOTHING done. To make matters worse, my car was running worse when I left than when I brought it in. I had an engine light on that wasnt there when I brought it and the engine was stumbling way worse than before. Right before I pulled off, it stalls.... Ill just do the spark plugs myself since it seems like the auto shops around here have gotten worse and dont really want to do their jobs.

Being a Washingtonian for about seven years now, I know first-hand how difficult it can be to find "good" "quality" "honest" and "genuine" customer service in this area, especially in the car service industry. Although I live on Capitol Hill, I continue to drive out to Landover Hills, MD (for about 5 years now) to get my car serviced at this Pepboys location because I have consistently received high quality service as well as friendly and accommodating customer service. The staff and management at this location always seek to go above and beyond the call of duty by treating all customers like friends first. They are sincerely concerned about customers needs and are committed to providing them with the best product at the best price. I can honestly say, it is always a pleasant experience whenever I come here, which is why I come back. I was particularlly impressed by the customer service I received by Caleb. He is clearly a "Super" Service Manager! He took the time to listen to my concerns, provided me with his professional opinion laying out all the options on the table, and ultimately assisted me in making the best decision for my vehicle that I felt comfortable with. If you are reading this and you are one of Calebs supervisors -- he deserves a Superman Cape and some RED tights! lol I also appreciate the convenience of having WIFI in the waiting room so I can get some work done (as well as write this google review) while waiting for my vehicle. Thank you Pepboys! I look forward to enjoying your services for the next 5 years :-)

Words cant even explain the customer service I received here. I only came in to get a start ignition switch replaced. This took 5 days to repair because of their inability to order the right parts or frequenty ability to take a 10 breaks throughout the day 8am - 5pm. Its friday and I still do not have transportation. I called corporate and still no push for them to move quicker and get the job done. Worst service ever!! I speak for anyone who wants to use their service. DO NOT DO IT! You will find out what I mean if you do. Save yourself the trouble and spend extra money to go to a real shop like MR. Tire.

I went on a Saturday morning for an oil change and was told that I must make an appointment. I asked when the traffic is the slowest and was told right after work. I made my appointment and was ready to go, or so I thought. When I arrived, I was told that I DO NOT have an appointment set. Despite what you see in the image of my appointment, I was told that I am not scheduled and can wait to be "fit in". A 2 hour wait! I do not suggest this Pep Boys. Less than a mile down the street is a Jiffy Lube. As I sit here to write this, Ive already gotten my estimate and service options.

This is probably the worst Pep Boys that I have ever been to. There is not enough room on here to describe how terrible this store is. Rude employees, lazy employees, and incompetent mechanics. The store looks like trash all the time. The floor is littered with trash, and there are boxes of stock just laying around. I will never use Pep Boys again because of this store. The upper management obviously does not care to improve this store as it has been like this for a long time.

Tragically, this is the closest Pep Boys to my home and is worst repair shop I have taken any car to be serviced. The employees take no accountability or pride in their work. I have wasted several hours waiting for a flat tire repair. Now, five weeks later the repair has failed and I once again dread visiting this wretched establishment. This time, Ill go elsewhere. I highly advise you do the same. This place sucks.

I went there early today, and to be honest, I really wasnt expecting too much, however, Truc the guy who worked on my car was AWESOME. Patrick was also helpful, but Truc, hes the man. Pep Boys nornally do not like to work on electrical problems, but Truc stepped in and had my car working in no time. If you go to this Pep Boys, ask that Truc work on your car. This guy knows what he is doing.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Horrible. Left the top off after an oil change the same day they plugged a tire that needed to be replaced, which another worker told me when I had to go back the very next day because my tire was flat. Now, Ive gotten my brakes done 2/3 months ago and the sound worse than before I got them done. Smh. I do not recommend them at all.
