Ok. I really wanted to like this place. I went in for a consult and they seemed to know what they were doing. My appointment on the other hand was another story. My stylist was a half hour late to my appointment and then didnt really know how to proceed. As discussed in my consult I want a neutral blonde color and a shaggy pixie cut. It took her almost 45 minutes to try and get ahold of the salon owner, then to ask another stylist when she couldnt, to discuss how she should proceed. At this point I feel I should mention she has been a stylist AT THIS SALON for a minimum of three years. We bleached my hair, bleached in highlights and cut my hair. Definitely the wrong order. It ended up costing her product and me money. I asked her three times if we were going to put in toner because I did NOT want warm or gold toned blonde. She told me no each time. The hair cut itself took her an hour and a half. At check out she didnt even try to set up my next appointment. So while I got a good haircut I came out of this appointment 5 HOURS LATER with a warm toned dimensional blonde pixie, severe chemical burns, and out $200. Not worth it. Will not go back. Would not recommend.

Naima is a gifted and experienced stylist, as well as a warm and wonderful person. Several years ago I got her name from a friend whose hair always looked spectacular. From my first cut, I could tell a difference in how easy it was to style my curly hair. I followed Naima from two previous salons before she created her own fabulous place. Naima cuts my hair so well that I can go about 10 weeks between cuts and still be happy with how my wash & go style is working for me. A couple of times I went in for my scheduled appointment and actually ended up rescheduling for a couple of weeks later because Naima and I agreed that my hair still looked great. A couple of other times when I was growing out the length and just needed the bangs trimmed, it was complimentary. The price is competitive with other salons of this caliber and well worth it, especially because I can go much longer between cuts. I also appreciate the relaxing atmosphere and the exemplary service and hospitality.

This salon was recommended by my MiL and I went in wanting a drastic change. Scott greeted us at the front desk and was friendly and professional. I had a detailed consultation with Scott the stylist who listend to what I was looking for and was happy to discuss all the options I had for moving forward. I walked in with mid length curly brown hair and walked out with a great almost pixie cut and a completely different hair colour. I went from dark brown to lots of golden blonde highlights and my hair still feels great and maintained its curl. The other staff were professional and sweet and did a great job washing out different parts of the colouring process. I am looking forward to my next visit to go lighter still

Naima has been cutting my hair for at least 8 years, and she is the only one who understands my crazy hair. I have very fine hair, but a ton of it, and it is freaky curly, and several cowlicks. Naima cuts my hair and it is beautiful, manageable and perfect for almost two months. When I have tried other stylists, after Naima (but before Naima opened her salon) my hair was a mess and I was always unhappy. They just didnt "get" my hair. Add to this that I have scalp psoriasis, which further thins my hair and challenges anyone to be able to make my hair look awesome & normal, and you have sheer genius as a stylist and a truly wonderful and caring human being. I highly recommend Naima and her staff.

After receiving a haircut I was not completely satisfied with, I was asked to come in the next day for a consultation with master stylist Scott. No matter what I say here I cant give justice to how amazing my experience was. Scott is patient and understanding. Hes engaging during the process and its evident that he cares about the community and his clients. He is a true artist and after he finished my hair looked better than it has in years. Its been less than 24 hours and I have already recommended Scott to my friends and family and after seeing how my hair looks they are excited to have Scott be their stylist as well.

I visited Naimas Hair Design for the first time after reading all of the good recommendations - I was not disappointed. I was treated so well by everyone, from the front desk to the shampoo to the cut and style. I was offered a glass of wine (which I was very happy to accept), and I had one of the best shampoo experiences. The shampoo in the massage chair with a head and neck massage is incredibly relaxing. Next Naima cut my hair in the most flattering way, and even showed me how to style it myself. Wonderful place - this is my new salon of choice.

When I first moved to the area I could not find a reliable stylist... Until a friend recommended Naima's. I love it there! She takes her time with adding dimension that looks flawless and natural. She even changes the color slightly to match the seasons. I am always offered refreshments. The best part is the shampooing. You sit in a massage chair and get a scalp massage! All the staff is friendly and makes it a point to say hi. My hair is healthier and i get lots of compliments! You get what you pay for - highly recommend Naima's!

By far my best hair cut experience ever! Im military and just transferred to the area and desperately wanted to get my hair cut but was hesitant because I didnt know of a good salon. I searched for a salon near me and Naimas came up and quite honestly I didnt expect much but I was thoroughly impressed with Naimas knowledge and professionalism. She told me to stop flat-ironing my hair and gave me the BEST cut Ive ever had. The salon is super clean and they have massage chairs you sit in while you get your hair washed. Awesome!

I got negative vibes as soon as I walked in. The owner seemed to be extremely pompous and would hardly look at me, until she realized I was her next client. She didnt listen to what I said I wanted, instead giving me horribly orangey highlights with a boring bob haircut...and then charged me more than 50$ than what I usually pay at my old salon. I visited this salon because it was in my neighborhood, but NEVER again. I strongly discourage anyone from going here. It was dirty, over-priced, and horrible customer service.

I have been going to Naima since December. I had shoulder length hair and I really needed a drastic change. I showed Naima a few pictures, she looked at them and then went to work with all her creativity knowing what would work with my thick coarse hair. I received the most awesome cut and highlights. She is a true artist with color and scissors. I love how I am taken care of at Eccosse. I am a client for life. The entire staff understands customer service.
