I was really hesitant to make an appointment at a new salon after my stylist moved away; shopping for a new hair place is hard! I was dreading it enough that I went almost a year and a half without a cut. Despite my fears, I was blown away by YOU Salon. Their website talks about making sure your stylist "gets" your hair, and that was very important to me--I can count on two fingers the number of stylists who have EVER "gotten" my hair--and YOU Salon delivered and then some. Not only did I fill out a questionnaire about my personal style, my lifestyle, and what I’m looking for, but the stylist spent a good 15min talking to me, playing with my hair, and asking me questions about what I want and what I don’t like. The complimentary hair treatment for the first visit was great, and the five-minute head massage I got after my hair was washed was worth the cost of the visit! Products were suggested but not pushed, and the final result after my cut was perfect—she really listened and paid attention, and the cut reflected that. The cost was lower than I’d expected, and the service was well worth the price. I am recommending YOU Salon to all of my friends and to anyone who will listen!

I saw an advertisement for YOU Salon in Baltimore Magazine. I was intrigued by the unique approach of this Salon. To be honest my hair was a mess. I had several very bad experiences when I moved to the area a few years ago. My hair was extremely damaged not to mention I was walking around with dark roots and numerous shades of blonde gold and yellow orange highlights. I called and the explained my situation to the Receptionist. I told her I wanted someone who was excellent with color. My appointment was with Christa for highlights and cut. She in a very professional manner explained why she could not do my color until my hair was in better shape. I used the two products she recommedned and went back 6 weeks later for my dimension highlights. I am beyond exstatic with the results. For the first time someone gave me the beige blonde highlights and overall color I have been trying to get someone to give me for YEARS. Christa is a true COLOR GENIUS. Anyone that can take my multi colored hair and turn it into what she did is nothing less than GENIUS.

Couldnt be happier. I was hesitant to try and new salon after going to the same place in my hometown for 10 years. In fact, I waited 3 1/2 months to get my hair cut just because I was so hesitant. Finally, I picked You Salon. I loved how they really spent the time to get to know you and your hair, how you felt about it, what your likes/dislikes were, and how much time you like to spend on it so they could tailor a cut directly to you. And Kristyn was awesome with explaining why and how she was doing what she was doing so I could get the same great look at home. Ill be back again and again.

My husband and I have been clients of Ashley for several years. My husband has curly hair and for years wore his hair clipped very short. Since hes gone to Ashley she handles his hair beautifully, it now has length and is cut to flatter his face, seems unusual to hear this about a mans cut, but if you see photos of him before Ashley styled his hair you would totally understand what an excellent stylist she is. As for me, my hair takes care of itself with an Ashley cut. Besides being a skilled stylist, Ashley listens to you and can interpret you style preferences.

I have a lot of hair and it can be tricky to make it look light without attempting to layer it (especially that Im trying to grow my hair long). What I really appreciated was that Alyssa took my concerns seriously and asked for suggestions to one of her co-workers (I cant remember her name!). She gave really good suggestions and took the lead on my hair. For me, that says "professional". I respect people who can work together as a team to satisfy their customer. My hair feels lighter (mission accomplished) and I am definitely looking forward to going back!

I LOVE this place. I made an appointment on a whim and have not stopped going ever since. I see Kristyn Wink, she does exactly what I want and takes the time to really hear what I want done. This salon is so professional and classy. Another thing that others salons dont do is having different prices levels depending on the skills of the stylist. So, if you are looking for an inexpensive but great cut your can or if you want the best of the best you can do that too. Truly, everyone in there will do an awesome job. I PROMISE.

Love YOU salon! Everyone is so friendly and nice, but what is important to me is that I get the best color and haircut and that when I leave the salon I can manage my hair. The professional staff at YOU salon has exceeded my expectations. I am often asked "who does your hair?" it is beautiful and the color is perfect! Of course I always say it YOU salon. Professional, classy and the most LOVABLE staff!!! I have been going to You Salon for years. I started out with salon anxiety from previous salons that butchered my hair and never knew how to achieve the right color and look for me. I found You Salon through a friend and never looked back! I have been going to YOU Salon for a couple years now and I absolutely love it! Christa is my main stylist, but have also had Ashley cut my hair when Christa was out. Im always happy with my style when I leave. I also had my hair highlighted last Spring in the balayage style and Christa did an amazing job. All the staff is very friendly and professional. YOU Salon employees always make sure my experience is lovely and I leave there feeling pampered :)

absolutely love coming here and have been doing so for almost a decade. christa is my wonderful stylist but everyone who works here has the knowledge and skills to create a fabulous hairstyle (besides being friendly and welcoming, natch) . the salon is extremely clean and comfortable, with a mod vibe and relaxed mood. the only thing that could send me to the moon and back is if they served alcohol. highly recommend.

Ashley was unbelievable kind and confident. I was in a delicate state as I was cutting my hair off to ready for chemo but wasnt ready for it all to be gone. I cannot tell you how amazing this salon is! From the moment you enter, to shampoo, to the finishing touches, you feel it is personalized and tailored to you!
