Friendly people, good service. I got the Deluxe Wax on my brand new Honda Fit (carnuba hand wax with machine buffing). When I left, my car was very shiny and pretty! They did a great job, and I could tell the detail guys paid attention to detail. As I was pulling out of their garage, one of them was doing some finishing touches on my windshield with the microfiber cloth. At this place, no one drives your car but you, and I like that. First you go with your car through an automatic washer with big soft cloth strips and cloth brushes (no hard brushes). Then you park it in a separate covered outdoor area for basic detailing (vacuum inside, wipe dash, etc). For major detailing jobs, they have a small indoor garage with a waiting area. I also like it that this place is very open to feedback. If you have any issues whatsoever, theyll listen. For general washes, they often dont dry the car completely, but what car wash like this actually does? They dried mine most of the way, and it was satisfactory for me (better than a different car wash I had gone to). Overall, for quality washing and waxing at a reasonable price in this area, the Germantown Auto Spa is a great place to go. I recommend it. Ive seen reviews for car washes where people had money stolen from their console. This is a no brainer -- dont leave free cash where anyone can get to it. At any place, theres always going to be "that guy" that wants some extra pocket change. Keep your emergency money well hidden, and youll never run into issues.

I have given this place a very poor rating due to each time Ive visited this establishment theres always inconsistency in the cleaning of my vehicle. Just yesterday I literally popped my trunk, grabbed my drying cloth, and wiped water off the passenger door as the guys stood there conversing with each other after thinking they had finished the vehicle. No attention to detail as the water left on my car was very apparent. So the only fair assumption is that they just didnt care. My second reason, I havent seen too many well-respected businesses in the line of this one that do not offer a 24 hour re-wash if it rains. When I called to ask about this, the guy answering the phone quickly cut me off with an abrupt "No, we dont do that!" Needless to say, I will be spending my money elsewhere from now on, and I would suggest the same to anyone else who wants quality work for the money they spend.

Just got the $40 car wash package. Very disappointed! We waited for over an hour for someone to clean our car. The place was so busy that they just barely cleaned the interior of my car and we waited and waited for someone to clean the tires. My husband had to go ask someone whats going on and they directed us to the car detailing area. If we didnt ask, we would be just sitting there wasting our time. We talked to the manager about how the interior and the windows were not cleaned and her reply was "what doesnt clean off from the rag, were not responsible for". The thing is, they didnt even put an effort to clean my car, the only thing that was good was the drivethrough wash, the people that does everything else after that is a disappointment. They say satisfaction guaranteed; thats just bs. Will never go there again. No quality control at all.

Have to share...after coming here for several years with no issues, in an apparent bid to upsell services and or fatten the margins, the girl at the front informs me that a works wash does not include a console cleaning. I have gotten the same package routinely since coming here, and never have the employees left my car half dirty. Either she messed up or the point of selling anyone a package where they leave a major portion of your car untouched while cleaning the dash just inches away is lost on me. I am disappointed auto spa, consistency in services and cost builds trust, and trust produces repeat business. You lost my trust so my business went up the road to the Flagship, much better deal for the money and I got the whole car cleaned for one price. Maybe you can start charging people for half a windshield, or two tires?

Just moved in the area and my first experience was great! It was during the weekend and they were very busy. I was so satisfied with the service that I even recommended 2 friends from Silver spring. My $40 was worth the service. Second experience was half/half some spots were left in and on the car, I was the only customer that morning. I did get it! And when I call the guys who were cleaning my car to come and fix it, they walked away from me. I was astonished, but I was in rush.... And today was my third and last time. Worst service ever. Im so speechless!!! From my experience today they do not even deserve one star and the manager was so unprofessional!!

Honestly, a few things need to change here. These reviews wouldnt be so bad had a fluent bi-lingual manager been there to inspect every job and be present for every customer. I put in the full $40 for my boss car and I expected great results. Instead I got two out of seven guys come in, put in minimal effort, interior specifically, as well as leave the windows down unragged with endless spots once they came up. I had to go to the auto store and clean the entire inside of the car my self. That cost $5.00 and 10 minutes of my time, compared to $40.00 for 25 minutes of unsatisfactory work. You also forgot to put the vanilla scents in the car... yikes.

I cancel my membreship last month and the manager told "you dont receive more charge for this service" when I see the bank statement this month they still charge me for the service I spoked 3 time with the "manager" and they dont do anything only says we have to send email and they reply to you but they never do it so I DONT RECOMMENT ANYONE TO GET MEMBRESHIP FROM THEM IS EASY TO GET BUT GONNA GIVE YOU HARD TIME WHEN YOU WANT CANCEL IT. and also the machine left always with soap my car and use towel but dont dry half of my car

If youre looking for a poor excuse for a clean car, or disrespectful employees that pretend they dont understand you look no further than Germantown Auto Spa. They dont know what clean is, they are disrespectful, and could care less about paying customers shelling out $25-$50 for a car wash. They simply dont get it! Dont waste your time or money, you get a better wash at your local machine gas station, without the hassle of rude employees and incompetent managers.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. You will be better off going to your local gas station and paying for the discounted wash after filling up. This was probably one of the WORST car washes I have ever had. My car still has residual dirt on it and my tires look horrible. The only dirt that was cleaned off of my car, is what the brushes did as my car rolled thru the wash. Save your $24.00 and go to a REAL Car Wash..

They dont do a very good job. All the signage is contrary to the actual service they provide. They seem more interested in moving cars through than doing it right. Ive been there half a dozen times and every time has been disappointing. I have to show them spots theyve completely missed wiping, I.e, entire panels, doors, and windows...missed dressing a tire, or they just didnt wipe down the car.
