I am from out of town so not local to the area when my car broke down on the Beltway during evening rush hour. AAA recommended and towed my car to Allbrand and I couldnt have been happier. It was a few minutes before their closing time when the tow truck got me to the Allbrand shop and I fully anticipated having to leave my car, rent a car to get home and return to the DC area in a few days to pick up my car. But Gary couldnt have been nicer. Him and the other mechanic graciously offered to stay well past closing time, get their parts supplier to bring a replacement that evening for the failed part and make the repair. He had me back on the road heading home within a few hours. Truly exceptional service and concern for a customer that is lacking at too many places these days. Highly recommend Allbrand should you be in the area and need service on your vehicle.

I took my 2013 Mazda 3 in today. I had previously had an oil change at a dealership in Rockville where I was told I needed brand new rotors, calipers, and brakes. I was quoted roughly $2000 for parts and labor. Several friends and neighbors recommended I go see Gary at Allbrand. He voluntarily, and without cost, took time to put my car on his lift and inspect my brakes, rotors, calipers, and tires while showing and explaining everything to me hands on. In the end, I didnt need new brakes and saved the bank. Gary at Allbrand, you are the best. I look forward to bringing in my Mazda to you for all its maintenance needs. I look forward to graciously recommending you to my friends.

I was very pleased with the service at Allbrand Auto Service. I was considering buying a used car but was concerned about relying solely on the dealers/state inspection. The team at Allbrand took my appointment on short notice, and went above and beyond by taking me into the garage to get a better look at the car. They showed me where the car was repainted (the dealer did not inform me of this) and a number of dings from slamming into the curb. They also gave me peace of mind by confirming that there were no fluid leaks and that the engine was generally in good shape. They were friendly, timely, and smart about their work. Would absolutely recommend.

Gary and Brian could not have been more pleasant or professional during my visit. I was in the area for a funeral and just as I was about to reach my destination a coolant hose burst. After the event, I called AAA and was towed to Allbrand Auto. They confirmed the issue, ordered a few parts and had me back on the road within an hour. Gary even offered me alternate directions to avoid the awful DC traffic. If I lived in the area, there is no doubt that this would be the shop that would continue to get my business.

Most recent repair: Replace exhaust system on my Ford Escape. Problem showed up Friday afternoon. I brought it by for Gary to look at. He stabilized what was left for the weekend, and we made an appointment for Monday for the full repair. By Monday afternoon my car is repaired and ready for pick-up. What I like about Allbrand is that Gary explains what he can do, then does what he has promised. Professional, timely and well-priced service.

The Allbrand team is great. I had a sunroof leak leading into the passenger seat of my car that was getting very troublesome. Allbrand Auto Service got me an appointment very quickly. They identified the problem and got it fixed in just a few hours. They saved a lot of future headaches for me all for a fair and honest price. Ive been using Allbrand Auto for about 7 years and have been very pleased with their service (a coworker referred me to them initially). When you find a good, trustworthy, fair mechanic you stick with them. I moved to Columbia, MD about six years ago but I will still drive all the way to Allbrand in Kensington for any car repairs or diagnostics. I cannot recommend them enough!
