Ive taken two cars to Jims in the past year or so for serious work. The work was done quickly and accurately, fixing the problems. I also have confidence theyd stand behind their work if something needed to be redone or was misdiagnosed. Once I took a car in because of an alarming-sounding rattle and they jacked it up, secured a heat shield with a clamp, which eliminated the issue--and refused to charge me anything at all. They seem to charge the going rate, which in this area is high, but thats life in the big city. Im very happy with Jims and will keep coming back.

Im not one to write reviews but Ive gotten my A/C fixed and my ignition coils replaced here on separate occasions and the shop has been the most straight-forward, decently-priced place Ive ever dealt with. The last time my car was in, they let me know that my brakes were pretty down but would go another oil change rather than try to sell me replacements right there. I appreciated them letting me know and as a result, will be taking my car to them when I do get the brakes fixed.

This place is amazing. My wife used it one day to get a tire repaired, and when most places wanted an arm or a leg, this place did it close to free! Then a few weeks later, we had a bumper-bender incident. They gave us a quick and free estimate. The work was performed on time and exactly like new. The price was reasonable too. Mario is a great guy.

Honest and Friendly Independent Auto Repair Shop. The technicians, Richard and Charlie, are excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They do not try to sell you repairs that are not needed and and the cost is very reasonable in comparison to other local independent shops and dealerships. Highly recommend Jims Automotive. You wont be disappointed!

I would definitely say the best place for auto service in Arlington area. Richard who is running the show is definitely a honest and straight forward person. He does great job and charges very reasonably. Talk to Richard and get an quote, compare it with others, you will know the difference.

I have been going to Jims Automotive for 10 years and they have never done me wrong. They dont try to sell me stuff I dont need and they are always helpful! Their prices are always better then the dealer. I trust Richard and Charlie with all of my family auto repair needs!

Jims Automotive was extremely helpful when I had tire problems. The repairman immediately found the issue and plugged it for free within 2 minutes of me arriving. They were very friendly and responsive to the problem. I would definitely go again.
