Went there to have an aftermarket exhaust installed, all bolt-on, no welding. I ensured that I had all the necessary gaskets and bolts necessary to install the exhaust so there were no additional parts that had to be used. The shop charged $273.13 in labor for a job that took 61 minutes. I got a call at 2:40pm stating that they were starting and my invoice with receipt was printed at 3:41pm. I took the time to speak with the installation technician that stated that everything was a breeze and the exhaust was perfect. He even commented on the sound and the quality. The hiccup that he ran into was needing to heat the bolts on the catalytic converter to remove them. Fantastic installation technician, he walked me around the vehicle while it was still on the lift to show me the fitment and to hear the sound. Technicians are great, i just wish the service writer didnt price gouge. Additionally, the owner of this location needs more training in customer service prior to calling customers at 9pm. I cant recommend this shop to friends and family, nor online, until things change. Sadly, I wont recognize the change because I wont be visiting the shop. I have found another shop, further away, but with stellar reviews, detailed pricing and a proven track record of customer service that I will frequent (PTUNING in Manassas).

Very happy with the service I received from Jerry and crew at Midas. I took my Yukon in for a new catalytic converter and while it was there I had them tackle a laundry list of routine service: radiator flush, service differentials, turn rotors... They did great work, had it ready that afternoon and the price was very reasonable. I would have spent more at the dealer for the cat alone than I spent at Midas for everything I had done. To the one star reviewer who brought his car in on the "temp" tire (we generally call it a "spare"in the US), Id caution you that though its physically possible to plug a puncture well into the sidewall, as a general rule, any puncture on the tread within 1" of the edge should not be repaired. I dont know your story, but I cant imagine they would have refused unless it was a safety issue. Plugging a tire is a 30-second, $10 job. Why wouldnt they just pop in a piece of sticky rope and take your lunch money? Probably because they were more concerned for your safety than you were.

I generally dont like taking the time to give reviews but this is the most trustworthy shop Ive been to in 34 years of life. Prices seem comparable to other places but even if they were more expensive, it would be worth the honesty you get. I took car in for an oil change and asked them to check the brakes cuz they were starting to squeak. Said I had at least another 20000 miles to go when he could have just said they needed changed and taken my money. The squeak went away a few days later (and not to grinding). When I did eventually get my brakes changed, they noticed my parking brake line was rusted and broke. Said they could fix it but wouldnt be worth the money if I didnt use it, they just wanted to show me (I.e. second time they couldve tried to get my money and didnt). My wife took her car in for a noise which turned out to be a bearing. They said it would last until her brakes needed changing in a few thousand miles and doing both at once would save on labor. I highly highly recommend this place.

Excellent service! I was concerned with my brakes and the possibility of needing new pads as my braking was not as responsive, so I called this location. Jerry (sp?) was very friendly on the phone and offered me an appointment for a brake inspection 20 minutes later. When I arrived the staff was friendly and efficient. After checking out my brakes, Kevin (mechanic) walked me all around the car and showed me each individual brake pad and rotor. He answered my many questions and gave me peace of mind. He advised me that my brakes were in safe condition and that I wouldnt need them replaced in the near future. I greatly appreciated his straightforward and honest stance as opposed to trying to sell me something or having me replace the brakes prematurely. Overall, great experience. Would highly recommend this site.

After waking up to a flat tire, I put the temp on and drove it to this Midas location. I asked them to patch it and put it back on the car while my wife and I went to see the latest Avengers movie. Not only did the movie suck, but Jerry or Lary to Terry from midas called and told me the puncture was in the sidewall and couldnt be patched. He said the only option was to spend $270 on two new tires. I declined the service over the phone and after the terrible movie I picked the car up and took it to Joses around the corner. Turns out there was no sidewall puncture, it was a screw in the tread, it was easily patchable, and only cost me $25. Im new in town and I want a shop I can trust. You let me down, Midas. I work hard for my money, and you should be ashamed for trying to steal it.

I will go back next time I need an alignment. I called at 1030 on a Saturday to get an alignment done. Jerry told me to come by at about 1200 and they could get me in. I arrived and the place was very busy (as expected on a Saturday) They did not end up taking in my car until about 1330 (someone had gotten there before me that needed an alignment). The alignment went very quickly and I got out in about an hour. The waiting room was clean and the shop was fully staffed with mechanics. They were constantly turning cars and doing an amazing parking lot shuffle with the finished cars to get the new ones in. If you go on a Saturday without an appointment be prepared to wait a bit. This is common to any place you go to as a walk in to have work done on the weekend.

I just moved to the area, from out of state. I took my brothers car in, with a screw in the front tire, and a low pressure light on. They took it off and checked it out- turns out the screw didnt go through the tire, and the pressure was probably low because of the colder weather. They easily could have still charged me, and I would have never been the wiser. Thats integrity folks. They were friendly, professional, and the waiting area was well kept. But the real gem, is honest mechanics... Sometimes thats hard to find. I would definitely recommend these folks. I know where Ill be going the next time I need something done.

I was experiencing a concern with vibration in my steering column while on a brief trip in DC. I stopped in this store. The attendant was courteous and asked me about the problem. I also needed an oil change. He spellout out the oil change specs and cost and would look at the problem issue. After checking it out, he explained it appeared the car is under a recall for this problem and didnt think it would be a problem to drive it as is until it could be addressed, potentially saving $1500 which could be covered by the manufacturer. Id go back there in a minute.
