Very helpful, Guss went out of his way and went above and beyond what could be expected for an automotive shop!! After an automobile accident my car was towed. I didnt have money until my payday to get my car out of the tow shops storage yard. The @anill was increasing daily by 50 dollars., Guss personally paid by towing bill out of his own pocket so storage fees would not continue to rack up. I would recommend this shop to anyone... in addition ad if thst was not enough I also personally saw him treat an elderly female customer right. Instead of taking advantage and making an expensive unnecessary upsale he gave the customer several options including the option to fix the problem as cheap as possible and make the car roadworthy again. After seeing him be straight forward and not try to extort every penny out of his customers he has my business for life.

Gus at Southlawn is fair, friendly, informed and honest! I am so glad I found a mechanic in the area (after moving from Florida) who is so knowledgeable, fair, and informative. I had a problem diagnosed by a national chain--it seemed expensive and vague. I went to Southlawn, and they fixed my problem for less than half of the other chains estimate--and my car is running better than ever. Do yourself & your car a huge favor, and go to Southlawn Auto Services! They can count on me as a customer-for-life! Mary.

Mechanics are not well trained or experienced. Unless you know what to repair, dont expect them to find out problems. Just for simple jobs here.
