I took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube on February 5, 2011 for an oil change. A few days later my check engine and oil light came on, I assumed that because I didn’t take it to the dealer I just needed to reset my maintenance reminder, so I updated my oil change mileage and it seemed to do the job. Over a month later I was driving on the beltway and my car shut off and I had to be towed to the nearest Infinity dealer because the car would not start. The mechanics and service professional at the dealership have reasonable evidence that Jiffy Lube did not replace the drain plug tight and/ or properly, causing my vehicle to lose all the oil. In order to get my car in working order the engine must be replaced. I reached out to the managers and the owner of Jiffy Lube and was not able to get any resolve. The owner advised me that if the drain plug was not on properly the oil would have left the car immediately, I almost agreed until I spoke with the dealership mechanic who explained step by step what they did in error. Jiffy Lube acted in negligence! I just purchased my vehicle June of 2010; I’m a single mother of 3 and the sole provider of my family and cannot afford to replace the engine that was caused to no efforts of my own. To have my vehicles engine replaced at the dealer is estimated between $12,000 and $14,500. Normally I read reviews before making a buying decision and regret not doing my homework on Jiffy Lube until I had a problem, I found on numerous sites that this is a known stigma associated with Jiffy Lube, others have complained about the same thing. If this was a result of my efforts I would assume full responsibility and I just ask that Jiffy Lube do the same and pay to have my engine replaced.

Rip Off I took my wifes car for a top off. It need less then a 1/4 of a quart. I was told you can only get 1 top and I had that top off. I could pay for the oil I was told. The only reason I had a top already was I took the car back for the tires. The car was not running well. Jiffy Lube filled one tire with 40 lbs 1 tire with 35 ibs and 2 tires with 30 lbs. While I was getting the tires done, the person added some oil. My wife puts 500 miles a week on her car. She drives from Owings Mills to aberdeen proving ground she works on the Army base. So I take that car made every 2 months for a oil change. I was told the main manager was at the store and they were using too much oil for top offs. btw: The Jiffy Lube Signature Service® Oil Change says "Bonus! You will also receive free top-offs on motor oil with the same type of oil purchased and any or all of the multiple vital fluids (listed above) between service visits for up to 3,000 miles.* Max of 2 quarts. I will never NEVER use Jiffy Lube again. They loss a client over 1/4 of a quart of oil. I can pay 1/2 of what I pay now for my oil changes. I will buy 1 quart of oil and add it as I need the oil. I called my family and friends that I know use that Jiffy Lube. My one friend takes his business car to that Jiffy Lube

I got my oil changed here last week. They told me my tag light was out, but I had just had it fixed. I went out to look at it and they were both working fine. Then they said it must be a shortage.... She proceeded to tell me that I did not have a cabin air filter. All cars have cabin air filters. I let this go. The reason I was getting my oil changed was because I was going on a trip to another state that weekend. Halfway up we went to use my windshield wipers and there was no fluid in there . As you know theyre supposed to top off all your fluids. Later on I look under the hood and there is very little antifreeze left. They didnt top that off either. I will never return to this Jiffy Lube again, or any others for that matter.

Oil change over priced, only had my oil changed here done due to I live around the corner. Within a few months of oil change my oil light came on. I took my vehicle to get checked out at a mechanic shop, as soon as they raised my vehicle they told me oil was leaking from the filter and showed me the filter was loose. My oil change was not due till another 1000 miles or so. I then had my oil changed again at the mechanic shop I dont recommend this place to anyone. They "specialise" in oil changes. I would have given 0 stars, which is not available..

Thank you!!!! I went to Jiffy Lube last week and was very pleased with my expierence! All of the staff was very helpful and I appreciated the cup of tea and magazines in the lobby while I waited. I dont know much about cars or car service so I really appreciated the fact that they explained everything to me and let me know things I needed and didnt need. I didnt feel like they were just trying to sell things to a dumb girl who didnt know cars :) I will be back for sure! thank you!

They are terrible! Ask to see if oil have actually been put in your car. Way over priced! Additional services are to get u to come in.. after services i checked my oil it was still low! Buy this time my mechanic had my car for other repairs needed, and it was to late to return. However Im hoping someone take heed to this, and do not take your car there. Basically they suck! This was 9/30/04.

I went in for an oil change, and I must say that the customer service alone was impeccable. Anthony treated me with respect and was happy to assist me. I also noticed how the staff treated everyone in the lobby great. They even held the door open for all customers entering in to the lobby. The oil change was fast and complete. I will be returning to get my next oil change as well.

I went to this particular Jiffy Lube for a top off. Im not exactly a car person, and within five minutes I learned that not only was my oil low, but there were several other minor issues. I was given a very fair price and excellent service by a guy named Alex. Really honest and helpful. Im definitely going back whenever I have any other issues.

Went for an oil change. Didnt vacuum my car out as stated on the receipt. The main reason I bring my car to any Jiffy lube is for that service. Reading the other comments makes me wonder what other stuff they said they didnt and didnt do. Dont go to this location! Ahead the warning of me and these others who have posted

Ok Ive always went to the dealer with my other vehicles & Firestone. Today was my first time visiting Jiffy Lube & I must say it was a excellent experience. The wait was under 30 minutes. The customer service was EXCELLENT!!! I dont know if all Jiffy Lubes are like this but you guys at this location are AWESOME!!!
