So...if you want great customer service when setting up an appointment to have your car towed, or you want the company to show up on time, then this company is for you. If you actually want the company to take your car and tow it to your selected location, then you may wish to seek an alternate company. After the tow truck company showed up this morning and was getting ready to put my vehicle on the flat bed, the tow truck driver suddenly packed up and started to leave. He gave me a courtesy call as I was watching him through the front door (it was raining, but a face-to-face explanation would have been nice) and told me he had received a police call and had to respond to the scene of an accident. He told me he could come back after dealing with that situation, but given that I had intentionally called the day before to set up a specific time for the tow truck to arrive to ensure that my vehicle got to the mechanic by 8am, waiting around for this guy to return was not an option. I called another company that came out and towed me to the shop. Unfortunately, even with the other companys responsiveness, we still did not arrive to the shop by 8am, which has resulted in my vehicle being held at the shop until Monday when they can finish things up. I learned from the other company that lack of staffing results in situations like the one I experienced. The company that ultimately towed my car was not only cheaper, more responsive, and trustworthy, but they are fully staffed to handle calls that come in from the general public AND the police. Bottom line--dont use this company unless you are comfortable with sitting around all day waiting until its convenient for them to take your vehicle where you need it to go.

Came in for a vehicle inspection. Had my car for a few days, with no call. I called and they told me I had a few repairable issues. I ask for a price and they told me they didnt have a price at that time. Came in for a price and they gave me an invoice for one of the repairs but not all. Told me that one of the repairs required them taking it to another shop. Another couple of days went by and I had to call them again only to found out that the other shop couldnt do the repair. They recommended another shop to take it to and I had to personally drive my car to another shop for the repair. After completing that repair I brought it back in. To my amazement they finally called and told me my car is ready. I asked for the price and they still didnt have an invoice for it. I stopped by later on that day and the billing still wasnt up. I waited for 30 minutes before I finally received a bill. Two+ weeks for an inspection...... It would have been a higher rating if the communication was better and they actually had answer to question like the cost.... If an inspection is what you want please find a better place than this...

I wish I could give this company a 0-star review. I am from Iowa and recently had a motorcycle stolen from me. The bike was stolen from Burlington, IA. It was found several weeks later near Gambrills, MD and towed to their yard. My insurance wont cover getting it back to me, so I called Waugh Chapel Towing & Auto Repair to see what my options were considering I am 900 miles away. For starters, the older woman I spoke with needs to learn some manors, apparently I am financially responsible for the holding fees and the towing fee even though the bike was stolen from me. So if I decide not to go pick the bike up, I have the option of relinquishing the bike to Waugh Chapel, they sell it, and then they keep the money they get out of it. Now that doesnt quite sound very fair to me, but hey, who am I? So in closing, I hope that others have better luck with this company than I have. PS- FOR SALE: 2003 Suzuki GSX-R750 for sale. 11,500ish miles. $2,000 O.B.O.

Keith is amazing. He does not do anything that is not necessary. He gives great advice, he fixes what is needed, and he doesnt charge ridiculous prices. When we moved to Maryland, we took a while to find a good mechanic that didnt just try to price gouge us. We wished that we had found him earlier. We have been using him for the past four years and have been pleased every time with his work. If we need something done, we drop off the car the night before and it is usually ready by the afternoon of the next day. There is a waiting area, but it is small, and as he is really busy, it is best to just drop off your car. I definitely recommend this place!

We contacted Waugh Chapel for a tow through roadside assistance. Melvin arrived promptly, knowing we had just minutes before the only service station still open closed. He quickly troubleshooted the problem, and offered to try and jump the car rather than tow it, which worked. He also identified the problem as a battery issue, and we were able to hustle to the shop and get it repaired. Without his kind and professional advice and assistance, we would have been stranded late at night hours from home. He was polite and caring - if I lived in the area, he would be my first choice to call with a car emergency.

Best, and most honest mechanic I have ever been to. Does great work, and I can always count on them. Waugh Chapel Auto & Towing is the only place I go to now. I trust their work so much that I had them fix up my 1995 Jeep Wrangler that had 210,000 miles on it right before I drove 2500 miles round trip to Key West, FL. Drove to and back without any issues whatsoever...and my Jeep seems like its running better than it ever has since Ive owned it. Hands down best mechanics out there. Go to Keith!

We had a very ill and handicapped friend who had his Jeep towed here based and several recommendations. The engine need repairs, they convinced him it needed a whole new engine. He paid them, they installed a new engine after having it a month. The new engine died less then 50 miles about being installed. Now they tell him that they are not willing to undertake such a project , but are refusing to refund him.

It was truly my insurance company who had me use this company for my first tow. Will was polite and the service was great. I ended up using them a second time, today, and again the service was great. I highly recommend this company and if I ever need to have my vehicle towed again I know who Ill be calling. Its not everyday I get to write a 5 star review on a company but they deserve it!

Absolutely horrible. there is absolutely no communication between the shop and the customer. they will do work on your car and not confirm how much it is or anything they will just call and say its fixed unknowing what was even wrong to being with. if I could give zero stars I would absolutely horrible I strongly recommend never get a tow and ANY kind of work done here
