After seeing their truck on the road and hearing the commercials on WTOP I thought of them first when I discovered a leak in my panty this morning. I called them at approximately 9am this morning asking when they could have someone come out. They offered me a slot of 1-4 today, and they would call when they were on their way. So I came home from work, emptied the pantry for them to work and waited.....3:30 came and no call, no show so I called them to see what the plan was. They said they would "page" the technician (ok, who pages anymore anyway) and call me back. Well as of 4:45 no one had called or arrived so I called again. I was told that they hadnt gotten a response from their technician so he would try again and call me right back. Well a few minutes later he called and said the tech ran into trouble at another job and could not come today after all, but could try for tomorrow afternoon. I declined. The part that I have the problem with....a simple phone call, communication, would have made all the difference. I had to call. Im sorry, Im not going to chase you to give you my money. There are a million plumbers out there, Real Plumbers it one I wont be calling again.

Last spring, we had what I call the "great flood" in my home. Overnight, a small leak turned into water raining from my ceiling on the first floor and my basement. While the damage was covered by a homeowners claim I was on the hook for paying someone to fix the plumbing and I had never used any plumbers in the region. I came across Real Plumbers on an internet search and saw enough good reviews to give them a shot. I had no issues with scheduling and they were able to get someone out here to diagnose and repair the leak in the connection between the tub faucet and the water line. As I recall, the whole operation cost $750 and that included locating the leak, carefully removing tile to get to the faucet and replacing the bad connector. Ive had no reoccurring issues since the repair, so I can gladly say that Id call again should I need help.

This place came recommended by a picky friend of mine, and I was excited that they seemed so comfortable fitting me in for a same-day appointment, when I called this morning. They gave me a 12-4pm window, and I called at 3:30pm to make sure I was still on the schedule, and was told that they were running late but would be here. It is now 5:30pm, and their office is closed. Can I leave my house to go pick up my kid from daycare or will I miss them? And even if they do come (at 5:30, at 6?), will they do any more than look at my broken A/C? It was supposed to be looked at AND fixed today! Ill revise this review if any service changes, but this has so far been a very frustrating (and wasteful) experience.

Appoints seem to mean little to this company. Had a appointment 9 to 11 at 10 called was told tech was leaving a location and I am the next customer. I would also get a call to confirm they are on the way At 11 no show I called again and was told tech is on the way. When I asked how long before the tech arrives I was transferred to someone else and had to explain all over again and was told he is coming. I lost all confidence at this point but was committed I had taken time off to get this done and since I had no confidence in when the tech was showing up. I being a responsible person called and cancelled appointments I had that after noon.

What started as a simple call to clear a bathroom sink drain turned into a complicated and time-consuming job that eventually required replumbing the sink. Thanks to the professionalism of Jay, Dave, and Charley, who were courteous and communicative, the nerve-wracking job was successfully completed. I would recommend Realtime Plumbers to anyone (Ive been customer for over 2 decades).

I dont recommend this company to any one because they are not respect to the customer. I had estimate appointment with them two hour window today between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm the tech didnt show up at all. After I called them the customer representative simply told me technician can not come today lets reschedule for next Tuesday June 20, (today is June 15).

This company is unbelievable. They get your credit card up front and charged $489.00 to diagnose the problem which was a gas valve to the hot water heater. The part was covered by warranty but they want $769.00 to install it. If I were you, I would call another company.
