My barber is Edwin, and he is also the owner. This shop is consistent, professional, and the work is of the utmost quality. The barbers have an eye for detail! Edwins team is top notch! If you can travel from DC out to this location you will never be disappointed. I will never go anywhere else. And Im used to New York barber shops. I think that says a lot! Everyone is friendly, in a positive mood and the shop is full of energy. Every single employee works just as hard as the barber to his left and to his right. The salon, has the same energy and the same quality. Customers leave happy each day. Consistency is the biggest thing you need in a shop that you spend your money in every week! And Star Hair Design has it all! When we show up its a family affair - my Mom, my Dad, my brother, even my boyfriend - if everybody can come to the same shop and leave looking fresh its a winner. Five stars!!!!

I strongly recommend Star Hair Design! The service is excellent, the barbers are proffesional, and I have never had a problem with how I look after a hair cut even after more than 5 years coming here. All barbers are bilingual and make sure that there clients expectations are always met. Most definitely check this spot out, you wont regret it!!!

The only place I go to in Maryland. The owner Edwin is my personal choice. He makes you feel like familia when you come in. The place is always clean and lively. Even if i have to wait I do not mind. Star Hair Design is not only a barbershop theres a full salon on the other side. Go get ya wig did ladies.

Poor customer service. No one talks to you when you walk in. You have to stand at the counter looking stupid till someone comes to ask you what you need. I have been bringing my daughter here for almost six months for shape ups. I think Im done. Very disappointed.
