Having read the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to bring my clothes to this spot. I invest in my outfits so the horror stories here were enough to cause me to go miles out of my way in order to get my cleaning done. Well, my first experience with them was after I had an incident in which cooking oil spilled onto my sports coat during a weekend dinner party. Not just a little, but about a fourth of a cup which is a lot for a wool coat. Driving to my usual spot on the weekend was not going to happen. The nearest choice to me was Dryclean Express. When i presented my sports coat, I was told what I already knew: That this type of stain might not come out. I decided to chance it anyway and was i pleasantly surprised. Not only was my sports coat perfectly pressed but the stains were totally gone. I stood there for literally a could of minutes inspecting the coat in both awe and disbelief (due to the reviews here). As a result of this spectacular job, I have decided to make Dryclean Express my "regular spot" and I have yet to be let down. Do I expect to? Maybe, but things happen. Human error is a constant variable in whatever we do but at this moment in time, Im content in the decision i made six months ago to give a spot that seems to getting a heck of a lot more negative than positive reviews just one chance at impressing me.

Will never use them again. After they lost a pair of my suit pants two years ago, I have not used this dry cleaner. However, I needed a pair of pants cleaned quickly so I went there hoping to get the pants cleaned without issue. Arrive just prior to 0900 so that I could get the pants cleaned the same day as advertised. Despite the fact that they have a large neon sign flashing in the front window of the establish noting that "any garment $2.25", they attempted to charge me $4.50 to clean my pants - not because I wanted to get them cleaned in one day, that service is done at no extra charge - but because I only had one garment. Asked to speak to the manager who insisted that he had to charge me $4.50 as I only had one garment. I pointed out that his sign stated otherwise and what he was doing was illegal. He only agreed to refund me the $4.50 paid to have my pants cleaned and gave me my pants back. Will not be back, and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Maryland State Consumer Protection Agency. Suggest you avoid this place if you dont want to be ripped off.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I WISH I HAD READ THE COMMENTS PRIOR TO TAKING MY CLOTHES HERE. I WENT TO TRY THIS PLACE FOR THE FIRST TIME, I DROPPED OFF 5 DRESS SHIRTS AND A PAIR OF SLACKS. WENT TO PICK UP MY ITEMS THE NEXT DAY AND THE ITEMS WERE STILL DIRTY AND THEY EVEN DAMAGED MY YELLOW DRESS SHIRT. THEY OFFERED TO CLEAN ALL THE ITEMS AGAIN AND I PICKED UP THE ITEMS THE NEXT DAY AND STILL THE ITEMS WERENT CLEAN. MY YELLOW SHIRT HAD BLUE DYE UNDER THE SLEEVES AND AROUND THE NECK. THE MANAGER (WILL) IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL HIM, ACCUSED ME OF WEARING SOMETHING THAT CAUSED THE STAINS AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR OFFER TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THE SHIRT THAT THEY DAMAGED. THIS GUY WILL GOES OUT TO USE THE EXAMPLE OF, IF I BOUGHT A BURGER FROM BURGER KING AND ATE THE FOOD AND WASNT HAPPY WOULD THEY GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK? I ASKED HIM WAS HE SERIOUS? I GRABBED MY CLOTHES AND LEFT BEFORE I WENT OUT OF CHARACTER. I WARN YOU, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I

I loved this place in the beginning, but as time when on I realized I was back complaining and getting clothes redone more too often. I was at the point where I was getting "free" coupons. That doesnt solve the problem. Either they lose your clothes, dont steam them, or have spots on them that werent there before. In the last five visits to this store, Ive had enough. I put on a pair of black slacks this morning for work and there was a spot on it that wasnt there before I put them in the cleaners. Im tired of complaining and making an extra trip to the cleaners which is really out of my way. Whats the old saying " you get what you pay for." Well Im going to spend the extra $1 or $2 and get what I really want. I DO NOT recommend this place or any stores associated with it.

This is one of those situations where I wished I read the reviews first before going. Shame on me! Brought 4 items in including a coat that was 1 month old. Picked up items. They were still dirty and didnt smell clean either. Had them clean again. Upon 2nd pick up attempt, Items were still dirty, coat was missing a button, they still smelled and my suit coats were snagged. Couldnt get a refund because they dont give refunds. Only options were to get store credit or have them cleaned again. Only problem with that is I dont want them touching my clothes EVER again because they are destroying them! Save yourself the trouble and do some research first in order to find a good cleaners because this is not it!

This is the worst Dry Cleaners I have ever used and believe me we use them all the time for our work cloths. The cloths come back with spots that where not there when I dropped them off and I told them I did not want any starch on my pants and they would come back stiff as a board, The last straw is when they burned one of my nice work shirts and then tried to tell me it was my fault, I must of had dirt in my pocket. Mind you this is my office work shirt not a play shirt. The owners son called me a lier and they were not going to do anything about this. P.S. the first review by the GUY name JOHNNY he looks alot like the owner. I will never ever use them again!!

Never again. This was the first and LAST time I use this place. I dropped three items off for regular dry cleaning, and when I went to pick them up, the jacket to my dress had a stain on it, the lining on my dress is now much longer than the actual dress, and NONE of the items looked as if they had been pressed. Of course, they are saying the stain was there when I brought it in... NOT. I will NEVER use them again, AND I definitely will NOT recommend them to anyone. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Was hoping to find a decent cleaners near home; but, oh well, back to my trusted cleaners in Oxon Hill.

I only went here because I live in Brandywine and it was the first I came across. I took 2 white mens shirts to be pressed. The lady suggested cleaning which I should not have agreed to. I picked my shirts up after 3 days as agreed at drop off. The 2 minor stains, which is why cleaning was suggested, were still there and now the white shirts were COVERED with red and black fuzz! My washing machine wouldve done a better job! If you value your $ dont waste it here. Pay a little more for clothes that will actually be laundered and pressed.
