As someone who owns and operates a moving company--Rocket Science Moving--I have volumes of experience with storage facilities all over the country. Simply Self Storage is, quite simply, the best facility Ive encountered in all the years Ive worked in the industry. I find the monthly rates to be quite reasonable, so reasonable in fact that Ive been renting five+ rooms there for years. The drive-thru, interior bay is by far SSSs best unique feature: its accessible with the same dedicated punch code you use to open the exterior gate, its large enough to fit both trucks and cars at the same time, you can directly access the bathrooms and the storage rooms from there, and obviously, it provides cover during inclement weather. Ive not seen this feature at any other storage facility. Last but by no means least, the manager Mike is friendly and accommodating, and Ive developed a great working relationship with him over the years. Simply Self Storage has played an integral role in the success of my business and I dont hesitate to recommend them with five stars.

Simply......THE BEST. I am an SSS....Serial Self Storer. I have had units all over the GBA and this company and especially this Beacon St location is the best all-around. Units are clean, like new, smooth floors (if youve rented before you know about the pits and pots in a dated facility). Ceilings are super HIGH, which is so under-rated if you know how to maximize your organization, and the SERVICE is excellent. Ive had to deal with a bunch of sketchy managers at other companies, who are look for every opportunity to nickle and dime you. The manager here (nice guy, I forget his name) especially, and Tamera are super helpful and friendly. They shoot straight and value your business. Thank you guys for another great experience at Simply Beacon!

I have been a customer with Simply Storage for over 5 years. My rate goes up every year. Its like Im being punished for being a longterm customer. So dont count on the pricing you get when you sign up, because it will just keep going up. I pay well over what new customers pay for the same size unit I have. Terrible customer service as well, they just cop an attitude about their policies and make no effort to help. I also notice another customer mentioning that they say give 10 days notice for moving out but they DO NOT say its 10 days before billing. I asked the same question and all she said was 10 days. Intentionally misleading. I suggest you shop elsewhere!

As storage units go, this one is my favorite and I have showed my appreciation by spending an ungodly amount of money here over the years. I think all storage units have issues but to me, most important are the cooperation of the staff in accepting packages and the responsiveness of the employees and Simply SS gets 5 stars for that alone. At other units, every time I get a package I have to drive all the way there just to put it into my unit. The employees here have made every effort to help me out whenever Ive asked for it and Ive realized thats pretty rare in storage unit world. No loading dock so be sure to alert any delivery drivers.

One of the best storage experiences of my life!! Storage access hours were great, unit was clean and well regulated (temp. and humid.), plenty of moving carts, gates and keycodes always worked. Additionally, the staff, including the manager Mike, were responsive, understanding, and easy to work with. Also, the small things, the locks were very reasonable priced, and is literally walking distance to U-Haul if needed. Would definitely recommend if need storage around Brighton/Allston area.

This location is excellent! I have been renting from here off and on for the last 8 to 10 years. Never had an issue and have always been treated very well. The property manager Mike La Rose has always been super efficient and accommodating any time I needed anything. In fact, just rented another storage unit just today and am happy as usual. This is the 4th (or maybe 5th) year in a row Ive rented a locker here. Regardless of the fact that it is far from the closest storage facility from where I live, it is the only place I will rent. The manager Michael is really nice and helpful, they have the best hours of any facility, and the place is kept really well.

Ive had at least one unit and several parking spots for nearly 7 years. The gated parking area is secure, and well maintained in the winter. The carport is a bonus with the ability to pull inside to load your car. SS Storage provides carts for easy loading/unloading. Mike, the Manager, is very friendly and helpful!

I received the wrong information regarding the notification of movement. I was told I needed to give 10 days notice. Was not told it was 10 days before billing. Very misleading and dishonest. Would not recommend to anyone
