I called them on Saturday to confirm a price quote from the internet and availability. They confirmed the price and gave me a 10:00 appointment to INSTALL the tires on Sunday. I arrived at 9:45. They took the car right away. I sat in the waiting room for 90 minutes waiting for the tires to be put on the car. At 11:15 they tell me my brakes are falling apart and quote a price of around $500 to fix them. Theres no squeaking or grinding on the breaks. I call my mechanic who just replaced the tie rod and he says the breaks are at about 50%. I say "Put the tires on the car." I sit for another 20 minutes... then ask, "What are they doing?" the Salesman shrugs and says "Checking the alignment." Thats what they were supposed to have done during the first 90 minutes. I say "Put the tires on the car." Im leaving and they lecture me about safety and how the breaks work. Monday morning the car passes inspection. Ill go back when I feel like paying for repairs before things need to be fixed.

I went to my local Firestone on john fitch highway in Fitchburg MA to have my tie rod checked out, they said there was nothing wrong with it but that my sway bar linkages were broke and that they would be glad to fix them for about $230ish, first off I looked online at the price for the parts $13 they wanted $70, so I said forget it went home and looked at it myself there was nothing wrong with them to begin with, bottom line is they made it up because they had to spend time looking at my cars tie rod for free and couldnt find anything so just made something up to made quick money, DONT EVER HAVE THESE GUYS FIX ANYTHING FOR YOU BEFORE YOU HAVE SOMEONE ELSE LOOK AT IT AND CONFIRM THE PROBLEM ACTUALLY EXIST (SHADE BALLS)

I went in for an alignment and left for the half hour and came back so I never got to see if they were actually working on my car. (I didnt think I was going to need to do that) When I picked up my car there was nothing different with my alignment. It was still pulling to the right severely. They never gave me the specs sheet that usually prints out to show everything was even. I had to go back the next day to get done again. Huge waste of my time. This time the specs were printed out because they actually completed the alignment.

Ive been to ALL the "discount" tire stores and dont know how I missed these guys. Best prices on decent quality tire in this area. No more standing in a cold doorway for car to be jacked up outside, nice waiting area and big tv. Friendly staff and fast turnaround sealed the deal for me. Now I tell all my friends where to go for their tires.

Now Fitchburg Tire is open on Sundays and has been accommodating to last minute walk-ins. Be aware that one of the managers, Tim, will put new tires on your car without asking.

Dont bother making an appointment. I made one for 2pm for an oil change, I was told the wait time was a half hour to 45min and it took almost 2 hours.

Went in to patch a flat tire. They broke my tire pressure sensor, and scratched up my new wheels, and left some adhesive on my wheels and tires.
