In mid July 2009 my 2008 Honda Accord was stolen from Central Auto works due to them leaving the key in the ignition. The theft occurred days before it was scheduled to be picked up. Yet the owner of the shop failed to notify me of the theft. Instead he waited for me to call them the day I was to pick it up and then told me that "..there is a problem with your car". They didnt even fill out a police report until after I called the police department and requested an officer go to the shop and get everyone’s statements! It burns me up to know that they failed to notify me immediately after they learned of the theft. They were reluctant to fill out a police report and were not 100% truthful with their own and my insurance companies. My car was fully loaded with some additional special features to include two large DVDs in the headrests. Hind sight is always better but I learned that the shop has been sited before for other violations and is considered by the police to not be a safe or respectable repair facility. The insurance companies, the police, and I all believe that the shop itself or someone who works at the shop stole the vehicle. Further review of their estimates shows they were overcharging for work they failed to complete yet told insurance companies they did. On top of that no one could verify any work completion and they wanted me to pay for all the repairs as though the work was completed and I had taken possession of the vehicle. I would never recommend this shop to anyone and suggest you check with the Worcester police department for a more reputable repair facility!

I was referred to this shop by a co-worker. I met with Mike the owner and explained I crashed my roommates car. He was polite and took the time to explain how the process works and what to expect for a time line. I was nervous that insurance wasnt going to cover all the aftermarket items ( it was a lifted jeep wrangler) but Mike Sweeney assured me he would see to it that they did. I was very impressed that every few days I got a follow up call letting me know what stage the Jeep was in. I know it may seem trivial but not having to chase a shop down to get info is awesome. upon giving the car its final once over before they gave it back one of their mechanics noticed the vehicle needed a oil change and wipers, they offered to do the service and I accepted the offer ( figured it was the least I could do since I crashed my buddys car). All in all it was a great experience, I am shocked at the other reviews. I call shenanigans on the guy who left a ring and bonds in his trunk lol

My BRAND NEW car was the victim of some serious damage caused by theft, and I was very nervous that it would never be the same.... It has now been about 3 weeks since I picked up my car, and I cannot express how impressed I still am at the workmanship, care, and attention to detail that Mike and his crew at Central Auto Body delivered. Mike and Steve kept me posted and called with any questions throughout the process while always assuring me that Id be happy with the end result. My car was towed to Central in shambles and returned to me without a flaw. The paint work, parts replacement, and wonderful detail job performed by the shop made my day. These guys are the real deal. I am happy to have found a shop nearby that I can now use as my go-to place. Thanks again!

Ive taken my Jeep to Central Auto Body twice over the past few months for collisions repairs and framework and I dealt with Mike Pilla. I wouldnt have brought it back a second time if the service wasnt great. Im extremely picky about my cars, and Central did a great job. I appreciated the way Mike handle my questions and concerns. He was straightforwad and didnt over-promise and under deliver like most places. He actually under-promised, and they over-delivered. I was very happy. I love that I didnt have to come out of pocket for the deductible too.

I have never had such a bad experience with a body shop in my life! It took them about one month longer than it should have to fix my car. When I picked up my car there was a random tire thrown in my trunk, my audio speakers were blown, my headlights still dont work correctly, and after completion of work I had to bring my car to a different body shop to find out that my motor mount was cracked and would have been noticed by Central Auto Works if they had fixed the car correctly. I have absolutely nothing good to say about their work or customer service.

My experience could not be more opposite than the previous reviews. I had my vehicle at the shop twice over a six week period for separate repairs after accidents to the front end. All employees were extremely helpful, guided me through the claims process, and kept in regular contract about the status of the work. The repairs were completed timely and with great results. I would strongly recommend them.

The shop owner, Mike Sweeney, and manager, Joel Cormier, as well as their entire staff, provide expert professional service in a very timely manner. Their Park Ave. Worcester facility is state of the art. I was very satisfied with my entire experience at Central Auto Works as was my son, who also recently had them perform body work on his car. Both of us highly recommend this business!

Scam artist and loser at heart! Called out by Turtleboy Sports for what he really is ! Take your car elsewhere unless you want the headache of a scam. Mike Sweeney is the reason we all pay higher insurance . Before you go to this clown do some research and you will find the truth . Only a scammer would have his dirty wife leave a positive review for back up . Lmfao

His staff is helpful and pleasant but the best thing about this auto body shop is that the work is flawless.
