Summer 2010 - Traveling away from home, I had some engine trouble with my car, had it towed here using AAA road service as it was a nearby location. After an initial diagnosis (in which the car started right back up again), the manager begin finding additional issues with the car that sounded fishy. Ultimately before things got out of hand I decided to get my car to a friends local trusted mechanic. Thats when the manager decided to refuse to release me my car. I requested, argued and to no avail this guy decided to hold my vehicle - even challenging me to call a lawyer to try to get my car back. This was pretty stunning to encounter (i.e. i decide not to use their services, and they are holding the car hostage). Eventually the manager budged and said he would release the car to another mechanic if they came down to his shop personally and got the keys. This insane little game forced me to go next door (a Sears Auto Center) and explain this ridiculous scenario to the on-site manager (who in 20+ years of auto service never heard of this kind of business practice). Thankfully, the Sears guys heard me out, called over to Firestone, who walked a lackey over with my keys. The firestone kid had no idea what was going on or why, just had been told to bring over the keys. I got my keys back during the confused conversation going on between the Sears guy and the Firestone kid. I walked over, and drove my car out of there, and got it fixed. Kids, beware of this place - and maybe it is this place only - but why take a chance when they apparently utilize hostage-taking and mob tactics to run their business. To be stranded pretty far from home without your car and facing this kind of treatment just isnt what you want. In a vast understatement, I will never go near a Firestone ever again. My family will not either. And every time auto issues occur to friends you can bet Firestone will not be what I recommend. If i have an auto issue and the choice is between Firestone and a sandwich shop, Id rather take my car to the sandwich shop.

Worst service Ive ever had. Went in to get a tire changed and schedule service for my truck. When I drop the truck off I was told it would be finished by the end of the day on Friday. Sunday morning I call to ask if the work is finished Im told its finished and can come pick it up. When I get there surprise your truck is not finished nothing had been done to it. Thats why I called ahead so I wouldnt waste my time driving down only to turn around why would you tell me its finished without checking???? 5 Hours later I get a call saying the truck is too heavy for the lift in the shop they cant do any work not even an oil change. So why would they schedule me to bring my truck in for service then keep it for 3 days and not do any work??? I dont know, but the shop is poorly ran and workers seem to be incompetent all it would have taken was for one person at the shop to realize the weight of the truck and maybe a phone call would have been nice. I dont make any money if Im not in the truck working they kept the truck for 3 days and I still have to find a shop for service. I will be telling all of my friends and family to stay far away from firestone at least this location these guys suck.

Concerned. My son went to this location today for two front tires. Although he did receive the tires at a respectable price there is some cause for concern in the "recommended" portion of the paperwork. The list of recommended services were to say the least questionable. #1 valve cover gasket removal and replace $371.99 really? they went on to say "Both". Its a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder! #2 ribbed belt $97.00 okay Ill give this one a pass. #3 Spark plug replacement. This I just did two weeks ago! super easy job.Their price $299? again they say 6 and the engine is a 4 cylinder. #5 coolant flush $119.00 again this one is not a huge issue. #5Hold on to your wallet!! Timing belts $742.00!!. with a new water pump ooh great! wait lets think about this a second. Once again this is the 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine. You know what? this engine is a timing chain engine it does not get changed. I hate to think the folks over there would have charged my son for these items if he had not had a chance to call me and double check. Hmm guess well never know since we are not going there any more.

Awful is not a strong enough word to describe the service at this location. Spoke with "Loren" on a Tuesday to inquire about getting an alignment (had already purchased the lifetime alignment service)- was told to just bring it in- should only take an hour. Well, I brought it in and lo and behold, all bays were full- wait time was about 45 minutes. Fine, Ill just make an appointment for Thursday. Showed up for my 12:30 appointment on Thursday and finally left at 1:00 when it was apparent that service was not imminent. I dont know if it is because their employees are incompetent or just slow, but isnt the whole purpose of an appointment so you dont have to wait? Customer service is non-existent. Was told several times- "Well get to you". Not going back, and I definitely would not recommend this location.

Comedy of errors at this location. Made online appt for 4 snow tires...showed up for appt. And was told.....we dont have your tires....we will pick them up from a different store 10 min away......hour later tires show up...they take mine off and then say you ordered wrong size tires online.....DID NOT!! Showed them confirmation .....oh......we will have to go get the right ones....... Asked...do you have any snow tires bere? NO. STILL WAITING AFTER 2.5 hours!!!! DO NOT USE FIRESTONE AUTO UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO THROW AWAY YOJR WHOLE DAY

Ive tried giving this place multiple chances, saying it was because of this reason or another. Ive finally hit my limit. There is no point on making an appointment if they dont try to withhold it or acknowledge that they are behind any sort of schedule and that you have been sitting there for hoursssss for an oil change. The gentleman are nice people, but the exspecations and respect for your time is horiable. Unless you have to, I would find another place to service your car in a reasonable amount of time.

Terrible front line person, i have had over $2,000 done in repairs and was a good customer for them, i call the front line person Sun night, and ask him to ask one of the guys in back, to tell me where the anti-theft deterrent relay is located, Chris says they wont tell me at least not for free, f o chris

Staff is always friendly. The place is not mobile friendly. If you are stuck waiting and wish to break out laptop to work there is no work area.

Excellent service each time I went there. They were kind, explained things, and were patient. Looks like a good team
